United StatesMemmingen is a wonderful place and this hotel reflects the happy spirit that is found throughout the town. Our evening check-in was fast, proficient and friendly. We asked for a kettle and we were gladly given the kettle, cups, spoons, sugar and creamer. We found the breakfast to be very good. I was happy they had hard boiled eggs. The bed was comfortable and our room had lots of storage. The shower had plenty of hot water and a towel warmer that worked! I love that the elevator could be entered and exited from the outside of the building.

PortugalI had an excellent experience at this hotel! Everything is brand new, from the towels and bed linens to the furniture. My room was spotless, and very cozy. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
The location is also perfect—there’s a supermarket and a bakery right next door, and the historic center is just a short walk away. Plus, the hotel offers parking, which is very convenient.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was super easy and fast thanks to the online check-in option. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Memmingen is a nice town.
Memmingen is a nice town. Sadly we are always just doing a stopover so never get the chance to explore, but it looks an interesting place and not far from the Alps.
11 to 19 Oct 2025 was the Krammermarkt fair. Caused us a problem by not being able to make a return stopover at the Joesepps Hotel (with onsite traditional 'Octoberfest style' restaurant due to the fair, but the Algau Memmingen Nord provided an excellent alternative.

Memmingen is a very nice smaller city and definitely worth...
Memmingen is a very nice smaller city and definitely worth visiting. The historic centre is only a five minute walk from the hotel or from the station/bus stop. The transport links close to the hotel are very easy to reach on foot (for train trips to Munich, for example). Overall Memmingen combines very interesting local history, very good shopping options, very good restaurants plus nice green spaces and friendly local residents.

Memmingen city is a gem.
It is only 15 mins drive from Memmingen airport, and the old city is within walking distance of the main bus / train station.
Everything is within walking distance, and there are an excellent range of shops, cafes and theatres.
Of all the places we have been to in Germany, this was our favourite!

Memmingen is best known for the local FMM airport used by low cost carriers but most air passengers seem to directly head off to Munich or other cities rather than visit this attractive small Bavarian town. The town is a mix of modern and older buildings with an attractive central square and some old town walls still standing. It is a good place for a short overnight stay after arriving or before departing from the airport.
Unfortunately FMM airport is far too small for the number of planes and passengers using it and few people whose aircraft departs from overcrowded FMM will want to return.

The range of shops and restaurants in Memmingen was excellent.
Lots of interesting local history and wonderful architecture
A local children's festival in July is worth being there for
the streets are very clean. The city is only 5 minutes walk from the train / bus station

What I liked most about Memmingen was the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The town's relatively quiet atmosphere provided a serene escape, while still being close to Memmingen Airport and the town center.
Moreover, Memmingen's location allowed me to easily travel to many major towns in Bavaria, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.

Modern and spacious apartment located very close to the Memmingen airport. We arrived late in the evening and had an early flight the next morning. The apartment was very clean and we had a nice rest before moving on to our next destination.

Lara’s place is in an ideal location just 10 mins drive from Memmingen airport. It was super spacious, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and host was very responsive. Also easy to find! Definitely recommend this place!

It's a good place to stay and relax, a little cozy apartment, very near to the city center, and just 10 minutes from the airport by car.
I really liked it.

There was absolutely EVERYTHING we needed and then some! The host took such great care for the house to be welcoming. It was spotless and only 7 minutes away from Memmingen airport. We also had a parking space.
