The Breakfast was wonderful and the Property has a Butcher Shop where I bought the best cold cuts in a very long time. The Owner Hermann is a absolut delight. Since I work for Norwegian Cruise Line I will recommend the Hotel to many of my Guest that also travel within Germany.

It was great - big spacious room, clean bathroom, beer machines in the hall and a delicious breakfast (we were spoiled for choice). Definitely recommend, a great price/quality. We will come again.

    Michelau is a village in the upper Main valley which does not offer much to visitors but the nearby cities of Lichtenfels or - a bit further - Coburg are very nice. The greatest cultural attractions of the area are the basilica of Vierzehnheiligen and the former monastry Kloster Banz.
