The hotel is in the center. The personnel is wonderful. They help you with everything, they do much more than they have to. You can go down and drink the tea and eat the fruits whenever you want, sometimes there are the cakes also. The hotel is clean and the wifi is perfect even in the room. I will always stay only in this hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Munich

Beyond Oktoberfest

Renowned for its stunning architecture and the world’s largest fair, Oktoberfest, Munich needs little introduction. Its vibrant cultural scene, great shopping and fantastic museums speak for themselves.

Munich has something for everyone: from historic palaces and castles, to stunning royal avenues to world class galleries and museums. Don't miss the new city hall, or Glockenspiel, in the heart of Marienplatz or the former residence of the Bavarian kings, the Residenz. Munich is also home to the world’s most famous beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus.

For great shopping, Karlsplatz is a pedestrian zone which takes up much of the city centre and the upscale area around Maximilianstrasse is yet another commercial wonderland. Munich is famous for its food too, so make sure you try the local Weißwurst, Leberkässemmeln and other popular pork dishes.

Thanks to efficient S-Bahn train, getting to the city center from Germany’s second busiest airport, Munich International Airport is quick and easy. Whether you’re looking for luxury hotels, youth hostels or comfortable apartments, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Munich visit.

Christmas markets were beautiful to see, which is what we went for. Depending where your from, prepare yourself for the price of things. I live in Spain and most things were twice the price. We had a great time though and public transport is plentiful and pretty punctual. The Ratzkeller was a nice place to eat.

Having lived close to Munich for 4 years, it is always a pleasure to return and sample the wonderful food and drink and experience at Christmas. Our go to cafe is Rischarts ( everywhere in the city and even the train stations). Cannot beat Augustiner Keller schnitzel and schweinshaxen. Visited Haidhausen Christmas market and the one at Hexenkessel (Kolumbusplatz). Superb. Dinner at Paulaners Wirtshaus am der Au. Fantastic!

City transport is clawing its way back to the punctuality, completeness and service that it enjoyed before an influx of non-German born residents and reduced city investment. Lots of parks and charm with a wonderful central car-free zone that is chock-a-block of charm and wonders, ranging from medieval to modern. Simply, a wonderful city to visit, especially for the Christmas Fairs (Dec) or during the summer!

Besides other famous attractions in Munchen I would kindly recommend you to visit Residenz palace. The Munich Residenz, the former palace of Bavarian monarchs, is an absolute must-see. It stands as the largest city palace in Germany and is an overwhelming display of royal power, history, and architectural evolution. The sheer scale is breathtaking, encompassing over 130 rooms spanning Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles. Key areas not to miss are the magnificent Renaissance Antiquarium, the glittering Treasury with the Bavarian crown jewels. Overall, Residenz offers an unparalleled glimpse into centuries of Wittelsbach dynasty life. A dazzling, opulent, and historically rich destination right in the heart of Munich.

Lovely old town area with beautiful typical Bavarian architecture. Don't miss out Marienplatz with the glockenspiel show and to climb the cathedral tower for some great views. Typical German cuisine and beer houses are in abundance in this area too. We only had a couple of days here so we will be coming back to visit other places in the city we didn't have time for. We took a train journey from the city centre to visit Neuschwanstein Castle which was stunning. An easy journey from Munich main station. Lots to do in and around Munich and we are already planning our next visit!

Amazing hotel which has 4 starts for a good reason! Great, spacious rooms, exceptional cleanliness. The staff are very polite and ready to accommodate various requests, also ready to go beyond the reservation specs. Location is a bit off the city centre, but there is a direct line (S4, S6) which city centre easily reachable. Also this one of the cheapest 4-star hotels in Munich, considerably cheaper than many hotels with one, two or three stars. Great impression. I stayed there twice, and I will be returning for sure!

Very new hotel, so everything, lobby, restaurant rooms look fresh, but the interior and design is such that it can last a while, very friendly staff, very nice rooms, a very good restaurant even if you are not staying there. Breakfast is one of the best. Highly recommend. Location is not in the centre but that is an advantage for price level as well as tranquility and safe surroundings. Munich city centre is not what it used to be

This is a solid choice for a short stay in Munich, albeit with a few limitations. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff were very friendly. Check-in was efficient too. The location is relatively good but is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The city centre can be reached on foot in about 20 - 25 minutes. The bed in my room was really comfortable.
