Great tradition of Oktoberfest. The traditional beer tents were lovely and the whole festival atmosphere was a wonderful experience. Marienplatz and the Residence were beautiful historic places. Lots of historic buildings and churches to see. I liked the ease of using the S-Bahn to get to places. When it was needed, taxi or uber arrived in a timely manner. Most of the streets were very walkable as long as you abide by the pedestrian signals. Most working people spoke English, so transactions were very easy. There were many interesting places to see but my favorites were the Residenz Palace and Marienplatz area. If you are handicapped, they do not have easily navigable areas, but they do try to assist as best they can. The beer is delicious here.Guest review byCWIZUnited States - 10.0

The churches were beautiful and the architecture was stunning. The German people on the whole were very unfriendly and rude. Tips were expected despite the service being the bare minimum. Meals were expensive and lacking in variety.
