The staff are super! The room was well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The bed was firm which was to my liking. The onsite restaurant was good. Again, all staff in this hotel were friendly and very helpful!

Great breakfast, good size room, a bed for my son was provided (extra charge, but still), and there was air conditioner (which is rare this side of Germany). The hotel is newer, everything worked well. Free parking.

    Definitely not a 4-star hotel.

    Definitely not a 4-star hotel. First of all, the room lacked basic amenities: no safe for valuables, no closet for clothes, no phone to contact reception, and not even a simple shower cap. A lot of rooms have broken AC and broken lights in the bathroom. Reception people are very slow and helpless. You need to walk from 4th floor to ground floor if any issues as no phone to call reception. They say call on mobile but as foreigner people we must pay for call which is ridiculous because they do not provide service that should be. Do not follow up on what promissed to guests. At checkout, they offered a 20% refund due to all the inconvenience, but we never received it, and no one responded to follow-up messages when we approached them about when we get refund back. Extremely unprofessional. We will never return and will strongly advise others to avoid this place.

    Excellent restaurants and bars, well laid out in a modern and stylish design, easy to walk around in a friendly atmosphere, Would recommend a visit, there's plenty to do, everything from shopping to a bit of culture. Recommend the promenade and Westfield centro, the bar Alex , the don Carlos and the tijuana are just a few of the places to visit, for a coffee, meal or a few beers with friends

    Great place for concerts at Turbinenhalle or the Rudolf Weber Arena. Good for German Christmas Market near the Netherlands. The biggest market is by the Centro mall. Don't forget to bring cash.

    I went to Oberhausen for a concert, the concert was at the end postponed but we got to walk through the centrum streets and visited the Westfield Mall which is super awesome and has a lot of shops! It's a small city so we also went to Essen.

    We were here to visit a friend.

    We were here to visit a friend. When he was working we were rather "stuck", for there was construction being done on the train line and leaving the town to go to the Rhine was not a reasonable option. We did a lot of walking the Oberhausen neighborhoods. The city is a place for people to live, not necessarily a touristic destination. We did eat at some delicious restaurants, including Salvatore for Italian and the Hotel Gdanska for Polish. There was an interesting exhibition of Michael Ende and his art of storytelling at the Palace.

    Oberhausen is part of a metropolitan area with lots of theme...

    Oberhausen is part of a metropolitan area with lots of theme parks and other stuff to do concentrated in the area. Our accommodation was approximately 15 minutes, in any direction from these theme parks and the Sea Life aquarium. A visit to Oberhausen is definitely going to happen again in the near future.

    Very nice hotel. Just a few minutes walking to Oberhausen Hauptbahnhof and half an hour walking to Rudolf Weber Arena in Neue Mitte. Very kind people working there, but keep in mind that the mention of 24 hour reception is not correct; reception is closed on Saturday evenings and Sundays. There's a sign with a phone number for emergencies. Breakfast is a continental buffet with a choice of eggs. I had a bath tub in my room. Very good bed. I'm definitely booking this hotel again next time.

    Great location, perfect for family. 10-15 minutes walk from main train station or less than 5 minutes using public transport. Penny shop is around 5 minutes walk from Hotel. Also, Edeka is nearby if you want to quickly grab something. Bus stop is very near to hotel, you can get buses to Neu Mitte Oberhausen

    The location is perfect. There is a tram stop nearby, which takes you quickly to the Westfiel Centro. The room itself is spacious and modern and has a large bathroom. In the morning we made ourselves breakfast and watched TV in the evening. If I would come back to Oberhausen, I would book this room again.

    Loved the hotel staff and the hotel common areas. Really nicely done, clean, cozy and comfortable. Good breakfast and very friendly to kids. We got free ice creams during the entire stay. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Electric vehicle charging is great and cheap.
