This enchanting town is straight out of a fairytale, with its charming crooked streets, inviting restaurants, and an atmosphere that feels both magical and welcoming. The panoramic views are simply stunning - every turn reveals another picture-perfect moment. Highlights of my visit included exploring the quirky Kauters Corner, discovering local pizza craftsmanship at the Ostreich Factory, and enjoying an absolutely delicious meal at Athenas Mediterrane . The Greek restaurant served authentic flavors with warm hospitality that made the experience even more special. For anyone seeking a delightful blend of history, charm, and culinary delights, Ostrich-Winkel is a must-visit. The town is next to a very busy road which spoils enjoyment of the riverside. If you are hoping to try local wines, you would be better choosing another town, (or perhaps a hotel in the town centre) my stay by the station was not near anywhere to eat or sample local wines.
