Pirna is an ideal base if you want to explore Saxon Switzerland. The Old Town is compact but very lovely. It has very tranquil ambiance, which suits travelers seeking a peaceful getaway. For the people to love old architecture, Pirna is a gem as it is completely unspoiled with modern concrete monsters. There are many great restaurants and cafes within the Old Town, though most close quite early. I would have appreciated a better quality wifi, but it is what it is. The breakfast was ok, i loved that i could have it outside. I would have appreciated some fresh vegetables and some fruit.
