United KingdomRooms were modern and clean with cool bunk beds with netting features, the individual lights for the beds were great. Rooms had aircon, mini fridge and safe. Bathroom has a hairdryer. Bottles of water and sweets for the kids were waiting in the room. Pillows were large and not too poofy and the mattresses were firm yet comfortable.
The breakfast had a lovely selection of hot and cold food with a good selection of beverages.
The location is perfect, close to the park entrance and the bus stops with a short walk to the towns restaurants.
There is a handy shop out the front that serves fresh pizza and hotdogs as well as lots of other snacks, drinks and bits and bobs, with benches out front to sit at.
Staff were all lovely and happy to help.

KuwaitIm my opinion the best hotel in Rust, the hotel room is modern and has all the facilities needes for the stay, the important thing in this hotel is that in has a very effective and cold air conditioning system which makes you really relax and feel comfortable during the summer season, also the windows has shutter system which you can close and no lights can come in. Breakfast is okay also, the hotel has elevator which makes it easy moving the suitcases up and down.

Europa Park Thrills and Black Forest Hills
Set between the Rhine River and the Black Forest, Rust is a small German town that is best known for its huge Europa Park. The largest theme park in Germany, it only comes second behind Disneyland Paris as Europe’s most popular amusement park.
The park’s 16 themed zones contain a variety of high-adrenaline rides as well as attractions for little kids. There are also shows, a 4D cinema and various eating establishments all over the complex.
In addition to the elaborately designed hotels within Europa Park, Booking.com has a fantastic range of Rust accommodations including hotels with outdoor pools, apartments with parking, and cheap guesthouses.
However, this is of course not the only reason to visit. The Baden-Württemberg region has some wonderful cycling routes, and the hills to the east of Rust are also popular for hiking.
The town is located less than an hour drive from the Black Forest spa resort of Baden-Baden and the colorful city of Freiburg. Each route passes by lush vineyards and little towns with half-timbered houses. Historic Strasbourg is over the border with France to the north, while Basel to the south is a lesser-known Swiss gem.

Rust is nice when you want to go to Europa Park.
Rust is nice when you want to go to Europa Park. Other friends of mine prefer Ringsheim because it’s cheaper, but i walk to Europa Park, eat fruhstuck at the bakery, and i can drink beer or wine without having to drive my car, because it is at the pension. Also saves you 10 - 15 euro per day!

Of course, Europa Park is the main draw to Rust, with amazing attractions, shows and food but there is a lot more in the town of rust, with lots of lovely restaurants and bars, as well as an abundance of options to stay to suit any budget.
There is good transport around the town with the 'Rust-Bus' running around the town, but from the "Europa Park Hotel" end of the town, to the park entrance is a 20 minute walk, so nothing too strenuous.

As a special birthday treat, I arranged a short break for my husband & I to Rust. The main purpose was to visit Europa Park & Rulantica. We spent 2 days at the theme park, 1 evening in the water park. It was gorgeous. So well laid out, clean & accessible. The hotel we stayed at was almost equidistant between the 2 venues, with a couple of shops & restaurants close by. Excellent location, stunning hotel. All the staff were very friendly & polite. Fully intend to return soon

Rust is a lovely village with it's main attraction being Europa Park. However the village itself is very quiet, well kept and well serviced with restaurants and supermarkets. It's 15min from Ringsheim train station and has 2 buses to catch from there, both reasonably priced. It's lovely to stay in even if you don't visit the theme park.

Nice, quiet village, within walking distance from Europa Park. Returning from the park, one passes a good number of restaurants, very convenient for grabbing a bite and a drink before returning to the apartment.

Rust is a relatively small place with only a nature reserve outside of Europa Park and Rulantica. You could hire bikes in multiple places but they didn't have anything for smaller children.
Lots of good restaurants (we went to Casa Rustica which was excellent) and two large supermarkets.
Free bus service around Rust for both parks was a great bonus.
Lots of shops closed over the weekend, but this is pretty standard for Germany. Restaurants generally opened at around 5pm every evening.

Great location for Europa Park. It's a 15 minute walk to the park entrance but you can exit the park and re-enter through the Bell Rock Hotel (which is directly opposite the Hayat Sky Hotel). It's also close to both supermarkets (Lidl and Edeka), which is very handy. Every staff member we spoke to was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooftop bar was amazing. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and intend to stay here for future Europa Park breaks.

The staff was super welcoming and very helpful. Rust isn't a place I would visit if not for Europa park, as there is not much to do in the area (in my opinion). Although our check-in was at 7am and we were quite tired, the staff was up for a chat and helped us check in quickly! I usually stay in one of the EP-hotels, but we were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would definitely return!
