Excellent 4-night stay at Jägerheim Löbsal. From the start, the warm, efficient check-in and genuinely hospitable host made me feel welcome. The property’s beautiful garden with a small pond was a real highlight and the perfect spot to unwind in the evening. The location is peaceful and rural, yet Meissen and the surrounding vineyards are within easy reach, so it works both as a serene retreat and a practical base. Great value for money—I’d happily return and highly recommend.

I've been fortunate enough to spend the last 2 weeks travelling through Germany, starting in the north west and heading east. The best hotel, by far (Quedlinburg was good too) is this one. Stunning location on the banks of the river, the property is beautifully maintained and is quietly stylish without being over the top. I probably got a particularly good deal by booking early, but for £47 (c€55), I got a great room, perfect bed, and the breakfast was delicious. Top class stay!

The location is amazing,right in the downtown. You can reach all you need by walk. The stuff os exzremley kind, willing to help with an honest big smile. The room is beautyful, big enough and you can find everything you need in the way you need with smart little solutions to spend your days. Amazing staff at this hotel. Truly 5* treatment, so lovely and helpful. It was my birthday during the stay (I didn't mention it) but the staff were so observant they wished me a happy birthday and gifted me some chocolate which was really sweet. I had an excellent massage in the spa. The view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel is incredibly cozy and perfect for a stay during the cooler season. There are saunas and a relaxing lounge area. The breakfast is excellent. The room has a retro style — but in a good way. We had a wonderful romantic weekend here. I’ll definitely come back again.
