We had a really nice stay. The hallway is older, but the rooms are nice and renovated. Good beds, lovely breakfast, great host. Our dog was also very welcome. Recommend 10/10!

Pet friendly!!!!! Yesss, It is; the owners love dogs and their two 4-legged treasures are amazing. (Attention, the dog cannot enter the breakfast room!!) Spacious room, comfortable bed, balcony, large bathroom, very rich breakfast, clean hotel. There is also a swimming pool and children's playground. Hotel is located 9 minutes walk from the center, fantastic. If you come with your dog there are lots of very beautiful Trails to do.

Everything was excellent. A very warm welcome by the hotelier and he provided us a room with city / street view with a balcony when requested, at the same price. Very clean rooms, modern bathroom, the breakfast was good to start our day, saved time and extra money as its included in the room fare. Quite place, even if you take the main street view road. Heaters worked better than what I expected, in the night it was -9 degrees outside, and still we were very comfortable inside.

This was one of the best places I've stayed at. The hotel is a cute old building situated right between the middle of the town and the waterfall walks. The room was a good size and had the most comfortable beds. It really was as close to perfect as it could have been.

It is my first time visiting the black forest.

It is my first time visiting the black forest. Very peaceful and relaxing. I stay 3 full days here. I also got chance to visit places around because it is easy to travel with train here. Although many people complain no AC during summer in Europe, but guess what, you really don't need AC here. You even feel chill in early morning and evening here.

Triberg is a very odd place.

Triberg is a very odd place. Once you've seen a few cuckoo clocks, they really aren't that interesting. Who is buying them?! The waterfalls are great and it's a nice walk to the top but in retrospect I'd go directly to Freiburg from Baden Baden (our previous stop) and probably skipped this town.

Very nice town with nice cockoo clocks, especially the 3 Bears, and well located to see Black Forest's attractions. Unfortunately the shops open late in the morning and close very early in the evening, so not too much to see in the evening. Very good dinner at "Landgasthof zur Lilie"

Stay in Triberg is comfortable.

Stay in Triberg is comfortable. Attractions can be completed in a day and konus guest card allows you to travel within Blackforest for free and visiting attractions with paid entrance, free of charge.

Touristy little town, but more to do than we had time for.

Touristy little town, but more to do than we had time for. Black forest cake (don't say Gateau, they don't call it that!) is well worth trying if you have a sweet tooth - Adler's is our favourite Cuckoo clock shops are worth a visit, amazing how much goes into them We would have liked a full day there to also do the museums etc.

It is good for walks and family time together.

It is good for walks and family time together. The Triberg waterfall walk through helps me reconnect with myself and nature. The swimming pool is a good place for the entire family to have a picnic and swim or play around.

Everything. This hotel is perfect. We were here for 4 nights and it was a pleasure to stay here. Wonderful staff, the owner is so helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is situated in Triberg centre, next to local bus stops and the Konus card, issued by the hotel, gave us free local transport and admission to the waterfalls and the museum. PERFECT and we look forward to our next visit

This hotel has a lovely, traditionally German look about it (which is why I chose it). The location is very good - close to the waterfall, museums, shops, etc. It's about a 15min walk from the train station. The room was very nice and you could hear the running water from the waterfall/river which was lovely (though I guess not for light sleepers!).

Amazing views for the Black Forest from the balcony. Great room with a double and 2 single beds over 2 rooms, perfect for a family. Staff were really helpful, including in the restaurant. good breakfast and dinner options. Close to the waterfalls and we walked to the giant cuckoo clock a great walk through the forest. Pool was an added bonus.

Quite a unique hotel! It is part of a bigger building with unusual access, you could almost miss it. There is a lift to take you up to the reception. The manager was brilliant and helpful. Had everything we needed including water in our room and the breakfast was great. There are restaurants across the road and it is near to the falls.
