The hotel property is spacious, calm, clean, welcoming and charming. The host was very friendly, positive and helpful. It was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in! The breakfast was a very good value. There was plenty of free parking. This is an exceptional value for being only 37 minutes from FRA. Located in a quiet village close to Mainz, I will definitely be using it whenever I need to stay near FRA.

As my trip was specifically to be in the suburb of Schwabenheim, this hotel was perfectly located. The hotel was clean and so was my room. I had stayed previously at this hotel in 2012 and they did not have this new wing with the newly designed rooms at that time. It wasn't a bad walk to get into town. The breakfast was a bit light but that could have been because it was a Friday and there were few guests. However, this was the only negative. As I travelled in the cooler weather, the room had the right temperature. I did not see Air Conditioning as an option so I will not stay here if I come in the Summer as I do need my air conditioning! The staff seemed friendly. I didn't converse much with them since my colleagues spoke German. There is an electric charging station for an EV and parking in general available at the site. I did enjoy looking out my window at the early AM mist and the open fields which was very serene.
