Everything was superb! We had a one-bedroom suite that was beautifully appointed, like the rest of the hotel. The bed was the best we have had in Germany. The restaurant was excellent and the staff very attentive without hovering. This was a winery stop for us, so provided a very relaxing place to spend the weekend. The hotel is in the middle of the old city but easy to reach from the main highway. The central location afforded easy walking distance to local museums, wineries and scenery. The hotel grounds were very pretty and accessible (see photo of large open area with seating and gardens). Parking was secure inside the hotel gates.

The staff was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The food served in the restaurant was great, as well as the wines served. This hotel is a great place for a stay when covering longer distance s. We will surely make another stop in the future.
