The spa and the swimming area were very nice although there was a lot of chlorine in the water. The outside sauna and the steam room were fantastic. Initially, we were thinking of bringing our dog and when we arrived the room was set-up with a dog bed and a bowl of water which was very thoughtful. We asked for restaurants in the area and the receptionist was not able to give us a lot of advice. We ended up eating at the hotel restaurant where we found that the food in the restaurant was overly expensive and a bit bland. The portion of scallops was so small that my wife insisted we find another restaurant to eat at after it.

She gave us free tea & biscuits while we waited to get some one to book us in. The room was great with free bottle water and TV etc. Great bed & on suite. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Simply, it felt home for us. Next time we will plan to stay longer. Thanks for the owner for the ease of handing in the keys to us. The hotel was also reasonably accommodating for children and the free chocolate was of course amazing for the kids - they could NOT get enough!
