Very comfy, calm and conveniently located hotel with great staff. I was checking in late so they called me to explain thoroughly where can I find the keys. Still I was so tired checking in at 21.30 that somehow locked myself out of the room. You'd think they'd be annoyed since the reception was already closed and they had to come from home to open the room for me - nothing further from what happened! The person who came was so kind and understanding! Very classy! I totally recommend this hotel!

This hotel is set in beautiful and peaceful countryside, with views over lakes and fields. The staff were great and did everything to make my stay perfect. I had an evening meal, which was very nice and good value for money. It was a beautiful evening and I ate outside overlooking a field full of deer. What's not to love? I was not able to take breakfast as I had to leave very early in the mornings. If I am ever in this area agin, I will stay at this hotel.

Simple but very well-maintained accommodation, a room that was big enough and very clean with all the amenities. The sweet on the pillow is so typically German that I couldn't go to Germany anymore if the Germans gave up this tradition! A special thanks to the owners who answered the phone late at night because I locked myself out and didn't understand how to use the electronic key (I promise I hadn't even been drinking...) A special mention for the imperial breakfast with fresh local products and the kind and smiling owner... just what you need to start the day!

I am on a global journey, and this is the best hotel I have stayed in Europe! The rooms here are spacious and comfortable, everything is great, and there is a very large backyard garden. The hotel's restaurant has excellent taste, where I had the best pork chops, very distinctive dumplings, and tiramisu. The hotel also has a large SPA facility that can accommodate many activities, and the host is very enthusiastic. This hotel has really given me a great surprise, highly recommended!

Quiet location with direct access to the Rennsteig hiking trail. Nature and tranquility are paramount; relaxation and exercise are exactly what I need. Swimming pool with sauna and shopping in the neighboring town of Bad Tabarz. Super modern, innovative apartment, very well-maintained property.
