The breakfast was excellent. In particular, there were gluten-free food and dairy-free milk options. The gluten-free food was in a separate area and a dedicated toaster for gluten-free products was provided. There was also plenty of non-dairy milk provided. I also appreciated that the bread was located in a separate area from the meat and cheese platters reducing cross-contamination. The staff was very knowledgeable about food allergies and were able to advise on modifications to the menu. I was able to eat safely during my entire stay at the hotel. The hotel also provided free coffee/tea as well as a water bar with sparkling, still, and flavored water available at all times.

This hotel is centrally located; however, it was hard to find due to some road construction nearby. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good. Nearby are plenty of restaurants and Cafés. We ate at one of the recommended restaurants and enjoyed a 10% discount. After dinner, we enjoyed a nice evening walk. There is plenty to see and do in Roskilde. The Viking Ships Museum was the highlight of our short visit. We were thankful for the room upgrade!

The owners were very nice and helpful. The bungalow was quaint and very comfortable - it had a bathroom with great water pressure, a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a coffee/tea station, a comfortable bed, and a table/chair sitting area. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. There is a beautiful garden in which to sit and listen to the birds in the nearby meadows. The location is quiet and away from town, but only a few minutes away from the heart of Roskilde. I would stay there again.

Friendly, helpful on-site owners. We just mentioned some interest to bike and in the morning 2 bikes were prepared. Whether you are a city dweller looking for an opportunity to gaze upon beef cattle, walk the roads to view the neighbor horse farms or come as a country kid at heart.. you’ll enjoy the stay. This is one of the best working flats we’ve stayed at. So many kitchen supplies to cook a nice meal to enjoy on the private patio. Quiet stay (beyond a rooster crow). Easy parking is a bonus. Grocery stores are near and so is the Roskilde harbor via car. We felt the tremendous pride the owner has in the property they love and are willing to share.

Whilst it does not have the charm of Helsingor, Roskilde has many attractions, especially the cathedral with its many excellent royal tombs, the town square, and the Viking Ships Museum which introduces the visitor not only to these remarkable survivors, but to the entire Viking world.

I've been to Roskilde for the festival every years since...

I've been to Roskilde for the festival every years since 1992 and also as a tourist off-festival. It's a cosy small Danish town with lots of restaurants and pubs + few sightseeing locations like the cathedral and the Viking museum

Such a charming little city with so many historical sites!

Such a charming little city with so many historical sites! We were there for a little over 24 hours and could have done with 1 more day for sure. We visited the fjord, the harbor, the Viking Ship Museum, and took a short walk through the city center on the first evening. For the next half a day, we went to the Ragnarock museum (a must-visit), Roskilde Cathedral (another must-visit), and went on a stroll around the city center. I always check out the Indian food scene at a new place, and we went for lunch at Namaste Roskilde and they didn't disappoint! Overall, a great place for a weekend getaway (for people living close to Denmark).

Great Viking Museum very informative and wonderful location. Lots of Viking ships. Cathedral was very interesting. Park areas well kept. Good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants. Easy train station to Copenhagen. Altogether a good place to visit.

The trip on the 207 bus from Roskilde to the destination was a great experience. A short 300 hundred metre walk from the stop was very easy and being away from main roads was wonderfully quiet. A great place to stay! Bicycles were also provided and riding was easy.

First of all we planned to use the hotel as a base to make a trip to Copenhagen, which worked very well. All the museums in Roskilde were closed on Monday, which in a dreadful weather turned out to be a nuisance.

Very lovely house with all the facilities you need. Well equipped kitchen and also a washing machine. Beautiful view over the fjord and the neighbours horses. Quiet and calm area with a park across the road good for walks and morning runs. Free parking for the car. The hosts are very kind.

Location is top notch. Quiet park in the back. Breakfast was really good and with a lot of choices - waffle maker was a hit with our son. The staff was really nice and helpful. Free gym. Close to the train station making it a perfect spot to go to Copenhagen.
