The perfect location - historic, lovely, quiet and just a sort stroll to city center, shops, restaurants! Even a view of the lake and a lovely garden! The apartment is better than expected, which is unusual to seasoned old travelers like us! Comfy and casual, with everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen, great bed plus sofa bed. Perfect for 2-4 guests. With great parking, too! This will always be our place in Viborg!

The hosts were very communicative and kind. We arrived on a very dark, rainy, winter evening and struggled to identify the correct building. We reached out via WhatsApp and the hosts called us back and were so gracious. We loved the long, beautiful table and cozy gathering area.

A town with historical significance and many pearls within...

A town with historical significance and many pearls within walking distance. For a couple of days, walk the pedestrian area, visit "Latinerhaven" and Skovgaard Museum with the works of "guldaldermaler" P.C. Skovgaards (and family) and continue to Domkirken and see the frescos made by his son. Domkirken has visible history back a 1000 years. Stroll the well preserved middle age cobble stone streets. Go to the Borgvold park at the lakes and enjoy the calmness. Nice restaurants e.g on "Nytorv" from traditional Danish ("Fru Thomsen") to Italian ("Kehlet"), and specialty shops (sour dough products at "Simpel Surdej" and beer tasting at "Viborg Bryghus" - note, only open on certain days)

I you like walking Viborg has many options to provide.

I you like walking Viborg has many options to provide. Take a walk around the lakes close to the city center. Take a trip to Haldsø and with the combination of the forest and lake that will make you feel so relaxed.

Very beautiful old town.

Very beautiful old town. I was there 30 years ago and that's why it was such a sentimental trip. It's worth visiting the former underground lime mine near Viborg. You can search for trolls in Denmark. There is a troll map.

Very beautiful cathedral where you can also go up the tower...

Very beautiful cathedral where you can also go up the tower and get a view of the city. A very historic area and some of Denmark's most beautiful nature just outside the city. A walk by De fem Halder is recommended. Cozy city center for both shopping and dining.

Even on a cold winter day, when the cold and wind made it cold to move around the city, the city presented itself nicely with a good atmosphere and good places to eat, and everyone should visit the cathedral, the church is very beautiful.

If you are interested in history, Viborg is definitely worth...

If you are interested in history, Viborg is definitely worth a visit. We only had a few hours in the city, so there are probably many other great experiences in Viborg. We will visit the city again next year when we have more time.

I didn't meet any staff so I can't comment. The room was perfectly fine if a little dated. Having said that, everything was clean and tidy. The bed, although a single (2of) was very comfortable. After 7.30pm the adjoining road becomes silent. The Vietnamese restaurant next door is outstanding.
