Amazing, friendly staff. Great breakfast included. Bottled water and beverages available. Close to the Encuentro Beach. Clean, spacious, beautiful room. Beautiful, cozy common area with a pool to relax in. Quiet. Very close to a surfing school. The staff even got some non alcoholic beer for me!

What a paradise! Natural Cabana is such a beautiful place with lots of plants that you feel like surrounded by nature but still can enjoy cozy room, delicious food and warm service. I spent 4 nights in Natural Cabana. They gave me the most beautiful one bed cabana I think which can see ocean but still keep some privacy. The décor inside is one of the most beautiful cabanas I have ever stayed at this price. It has a nice kitchen, a dressing room, and a spacious bathroom. I really like its white stone walls which give the room an earthy charm that connects you to the nature. This was my first and only trip that I stayed at one place for a few days without planning any activities and it allowed me to enjoy fully what Natural Cabana offered. The food provided by both restaurants were fabulous. I tried 3 different breakfasts, one lunch and 2 dinners. The organic garden salad was so fresh with tasty dressing. The churrasco was very tender and well seasoned. Breakfast were all provided in big portion. I really like traditional breakfast with Dominican salami and Mangú, and also omelette. I took yoga classes in 3 mornings to start a day and it was so nice to be companied by sounds of ocean waves and singing of thrushes and bananaquits. I also tried spa once and I was not sure if it was my imagination but I felt some of the mosquito bites on my legs became smaller and not itchy next day. And yes the only problem was mosquitos so make sure you bring mosquito repellent or you can buy one from their shop. I was so glad to find Natural Cabana and it was the only reason I chose to go to the northern beach because most of resorts in Dominican Republic are very modern and artificial which don’t fit my taste. Natural Cabana provided calm and peace that I was looking for to really clear my mind and recharge for my next life challenge. I really appreciated the staff’s effort to keep it a charming gateway to soothe a traveler’s heart and soul.

    Cabarete has a laid-back feel that is perfect for an easygoing vacation. The waves are fun the play in and the water/wind sports are fun and colorful to watch. Getting around is easy by walking. High tide will make some of the beach walking a challenge if you are too far down the beach, but still doable.

    Cabarete has a very different atmosphere than other parts of Dominican Republic. It is a surfer town with a very relaxed energy. You find good restaurant options (fresh fresh cafe, gorditos fresh mex, la casita de papi, mojito bar, belgium bakery, vagamundo coffee, friend’s, ojo club), some shops, fun relaxed night life and there is a nice enough beach with bars, restaurants and kite and windsurf rentals/schools. It is quite a small town so staying here for a longer time could become boring if you don’t do day trips to other areas near by. I travel a lot to the DR and always enjoy staying 3-5 days in the area because of the nice restaurant and relaxed surfer vibes and the change to another part of the country to continue my vacation.

    Lots of shops with a variety of goods along main street (busy so careful crossing). Bars & restaurents were excellent! Good entertainment, lots of expats in town and along the beach. Dominicans are friendly and helpful. As elsewhere, stay with the crowds if out at night. Stay on the beaten track. I walked all over during the day, A small nieghbourhood bar was a great stop on a hot afternoon.

    Compliments to the helpful and pleasant staff.

    Compliments to the helpful and pleasant staff. Extra cudos to Senior Santos, Jennifer, the security team and maintenance crew that made me feel very welcome. It suited me for a quiet space to decompress and enjoy some reflection time. I would highly recommend this property for couples and solo travelers. The local residents were also kind and pleasant to mingle with. Thank you all again, I plan to return next year. Cheers, Chris from Canada.

    Great for foreigners, it has a budget for everyone in terms of restaurants, accommodation, and things to do. It is about a 4-hour drive from Santo Domingo. The beaches are nice and the water is warm. I would highly recommend staying here.

    The place was close to the beach, and the host even arranged a parking spot for us in front of the gate, which was very convenient. The accommodation was freshly furnished and had everything we needed in the kitchen—I especially appreciated the large water barrel, fridge, and basic cooking essentials. It was also the first place in the Dominican Republic where we had no issues with hot water or water pressure! A peaceful spot to relax after beach days and definitely great value for the money.

    The grounds are beautiful and the host was very helpful. Although the location may seem a little odd, being a ways out of Cabarete and in an area that is a bit rundown (there are a lot of places in the area that are abandoned, interspersed with what look to be beautiful villas and smaller local places), for me it was a bonus. There are a number of small businesses that are helpful in the area as well as restaurants. An isolated beach is a short walk away and the place was quite quiet.
