Everything! Location is great, they have breakfast for free in the morning, the kindest family ever. This is a little personal but I need to share this. I was sick for three days when I arrived to this hotel.. as soon as we checked into the hotel, the family could tell I was sick and instantly went and got me medicine and made me tea, and even got me a gatorade because i couldn’t eat anything. they helped take care of me without even knowing me first. not only is this hotel beautiful, quiet, 2 adorable family dogs.. nice rooms.. but also by staying here you are helping a family who puts others before themselves. i’d stay here again in a heartbeat. we recommend it immensely!

Perfect solution. My friends left and I needed just a room for a cheaper price for myself. The host offers the second floor as a whole rental apartment and the first floor as a rental by room. Having rented just the double room, I still had access to all apartment amenities. Nice and unexpected treat. Eduardo, the host, was very nice and accommodating.

The hosts went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay pleasant. They helped us plan our visit to the city and with all of our needs, and the owner used to be a diving guide in the Galápagos islands and can share amazing stories. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, with fresh fruits, juice, eggs and great home made jams. Rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds and a good hot shower. The garden and corridors are filled with lovely plants. Short walking distance from Mall de Sol, and a taxi to the touristic center is a 10-20 minutes ride (3 dollars). 10 minutes from the Airport.

We chose this hotel because we needed a place to stay before our next flight. This place was prefect for that, clean, comfortable, affordable, and within walking distance to the airport. They even provided recommendations to wander about and get food that worked out perfectly.

I really liked the chill vibe and personable, attentive staff. Michael himself was a wellspring of information for Galapagos Island travel! Clean space with lots of common area, medium sized lockers, decent Wifi, hot showers, fans for generous air circulation, and a basic kitchen for preparing coffee, tea or simple meals. Luggage storage for my time in the Galapagos (just a dollar a day - after one week free!), as well as proximity to the airport and bus terminal, were great bonuses. The neighborhood seems safe and family oriented, with grocers and other amenities nearby. Overall Guayaquil is much more laid-back than folks in other parts of Ecuador make it out to be. I really appreciated Michael's delicious, affordable vegan restaurant next door - not easy to find in Guayaquil, or anywhere in Ecuador! Edward and everyone on staff were super friendly - thanks for the relaxed and restful stay, guys!
