EcuadorQuiet except for bar next door on the weekends is very loud until 2am. Ask for room away from street or Room 8. Best setting in town. Great food. Beautifully manicured grounds. Wonderful staff and owner is super friendly and speaks English. Watch the surfers at sunset from the bar. Try the Pisco Sour!

United StatesOutstanding place to rest and to have lots of fun with family. The hosts were out of their ways just to make us feel good and to help if we needed something. The property is very safe, and my kids enjoyed the pool and bodyboarding at the beach (the property provides bodyboards and a couple of surfboards). We definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful, quiet town on a beautiful beach. Plenty of seafood restaurants. The town basically has one road, so its easy to find your way around. The beach is long enough for an easy hour long walk in either direction from the town.

We stayed for 6 nights and the hotel was excellent, great room, great pool and very friendly staff, previous comments about no choice at breakfast has now been changed as there are three choices for breakfast everyday which were really good, the beach is stunning at low tide, our only gripe, which is not with the hotels fault, is the beach is littered with rubbish, mainly plastic, which there doesn’t seem to be any local cooperative scheme to clean up and really taints the beach, this aside I would thoroughly recommend the hotel

It's a really nice place. It has a garden with hammocks and two outside kitchens. The staff was super friendly and helped me with any questions. The rooms and bathrooms were clean.
Advice: take some cash with you. You can't pay with creditcard there and Canoa has no ATM.

Hostal Rutamar is amazing, it's perfect to relax and enjoy Canoa, friendly staff. The kitchen is well furnished, we cooked almost all our meals. You can rent surf boards for a very good price, unfortunalty it's not flexible (4hours only) so we had to go somewhere else.

This was our second time to the property because it's a great location and canoa is quite. The owners are great and the staff are really friendly. We love the chilled vibes and the food is great at the bar too.
