Everything. Far exceeded my expectations. View of Quito from our apartment; spacious living quarters with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room & 1 1/2 baths; and, very clean & modern. A deluxe location and ideal place to stay. The day-to-day Managers (i.e., Paul, Joz and Leiver) met us daily to see if things were going well & if we needed anything. Literally everyday; most days twice! QHBH has an arrangement with two local guides: Carlos; and, Xavier. These dudes are awesome! If you can [go to Quito] stay at this residence and book a couple of day tours with these two fine gentleman. You will be writing a 5+ review just like I am now. Guaranteed! Also, Tony from Bogota, Columbia owns & operates an 8'ish seat Pizzeria across the street. Literally 20 feet from the Hotel front door! Best pizza we've ever had. And, Tony is a 'one-of-a-kind' in a great way!

I really had a good experience in casa vieja. the place is lovely and Jenny is so nice. I was a bit sick when I arrived and Jenny took care of me. I really recommend this place. the location is very good, facilities are clean and good and beds are confortable.

The stay was spectacular; it truly exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the rooms were beautiful and spacious, always with hot water and excellent internet. They also have a gorgeous rooftop with a great variety on the menu and wonderful views of the historic center. Additionally, the hotel offers several tours that were excellent. Without a doubt, when I return to Ecuador, this will be my hotel of choice.

I loved the hostel staff (reception, kitchen, and housekeeping). They were always available to answer my questions. The location is a major plus, just a few minutes from Plaza Grande. The room is spacious and well-maintained. I highly recommend this hostel.
