    Very nice city with a calm vibe.

    Very nice city with a calm vibe. Everything was walkable and you could find great local mercado just by walking around. Got some cheap great veggies, fruits and eggs! Nice stay if you wanna do the Quilotoa trip.

    The only reason to stay here was to get an early bus to the Quilotoa loop. Walked round and there were zero attractions to visit. Even the churches were shut but that may have been due to the State of Emergency. Didn't eat out because I didn't see anywhere open I fancied eating in.

    Though not much to do in the city, it's nevertheless a convenient stop for accessing all the nearby volcanoes and lakes. The city has a potential, it needs a bit of tourism infrastructure to encourage longer stay rather than a quick passing through.

    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We appreciated having a private parking space, which gave us peace of mind about the safety of our car. The host went above and beyond by preparing a delicious takeaway breakfast for us since we had to leave early – such a thoughtful gesture! Overall, the host was very kind and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

    I really appreciated the location in the old town and was very grateful for the excellent support and attention from Sebastian and his brother..They were the most attentive and available hosts I encountered in Ecuador.The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable and the hotel had character ... As breakfast was not available but included in the price,they arranged for me to have breakfast elsewhere.and escorted me to the alternative location.

    The place is very quiet and I got a room with view to a street, but there was little noise. The breakfast was very good and it was nicely done. The staff and the hotel manager were extremely friendly and did everything to make my stay a peasant one. They helped me a lot when I fell ill, The always organised a taxi. From the hotel I could reach important places near by in the city and farther way very quickly. I thank them a lot.
