MexicoIt must be the first time I've given a 10/10 for a Holiday Inn! We've stayed at many, but this one at Quito Airport must be one of the nicest, newest and most well-priced one we've been. The brand new hotel has really spacious, slick rooms with extremely comfortable beds. We'd checked in after two weeks of traveling around Ecuador, including being in the sun too much in the Galapagos Islands, so we warmly welcomed this comfort. My daughter asked why we didn't stay here the entire time we were in Ecuador. :D That was hilarious!

We stay here to break up the trip from Toronto to Cuenca. There isn't enough time between the arrival of our international flight to the departure of our domestic flight to make the connection, so we check in have a great breakfast and sleep in luxurious, comfortable beds before leaving the next morning for our final destination. Everything about the Wyndham is wonderful ... staff, food, service ... all exceptional. We highly recommend this property.

The hosts were exceedingly helpful. Fernando picked me up from the airport (about 10km from the hotel) and brought me back there as needed. I had an extra day, and not having a car, Fernando and his wife took me all the way into downtown Quito to visit a museum and to get a feel for the city. They picked me up again exactly at the set time.
They also ordered pizza for me because there are not many restaurants nearby. Fernando and his wife really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. They have a number of houses German style, a swimming pool, and a lovely winter-garden like breakfast room with a lovely view of their beautiful garden. Breakfast was excellent and just the right amount!

This is your place if you're looking for affordable, close and easy access to the airport. I'm not aware of any particular activities in the immediate area. It's far from the city centre. We were being picked up to head out of town the next morning, so can't comment on the hotel's proximity to any activities or sightseeing. The taxi was only $10.00 and the drive was only about 15 minutes.

When arriving at the Quito Airport, there are only about 3 or 4 selections to stay at. The others are expensive, but this hotel is around $25-ishh a night, includes a small breakfast. Also, it includes one free airport ride. If you need a second ride to airport it is 4 minutes and $7
When you arrive in Quito Airport, you need to adjust to the altitude. The airport area hotels, especially if you arrive late at night, are a good way to start your trip and their altitude is a little below Quito city, so it is a preferred way to acclimate.

Neighbourhood close to the airport. Good for relaxing for a day after or before a long flight.
It is close to the green canyon, which is nice for a walk.

We stayed here twice, once for one night before our trip to the Amazon, and then again after the Amazon and before the Galapogas. Its proximity to the airport is perfect for this kind of stop over stay. Large, clean, comfy rooms. Alpacas and a llama roaming around were a nice touch. Cheap, home cooked meals available for dinner. Nice grill a short walk from the hotel fro lunch. Airport transfer available for a fee.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is located very close to the airport (5 min) but we did NOT hear planes all through the night. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The $3 breakfast is well worth the money. I would recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay before or after a flight. There is a restaurant at the end of the lane if you need a quick meal or a drink.

The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. The amenities at the hotel were extensive and we lacked for nothing. The location to the airport was perfect with a free shuttle service running too and from the airport every half hour. The restaurant had a great selection of food choices and the dinner buffet was fabulous....great value for money.

Easy access from airport late at night. Taxi from airport was $10. Quiet comfortable room. No refrigerator but was permitted to store some cheese in hotel refrigerator. Taxi back to airport at 06:00 was included and on time. Recommend for an overnight near the airport.
