The room was in good condition and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Large size with Frig etc... there was no safe in the room.
Nice place, we were very satisfied and will stay there again. The breakfast was excellent at their resturant downstair

Rakvere is where my mother went to high school.
Rakvere is where my mother went to high school. Later the rest of her family (mother and sister) moved there to live. I consider it my home town away from my home town. Not only does it have great permanent attractions, like the 800-year-old castle with actors recreating life 500 years ago, but it has great occasional events. Like a punk rock festival every year. One time I was there, I unexpectedly came upon a street organ festival and spent the rest of the afternoon/evening with them. It has great places to eat with a variety of cuisines, from local to Caucasian and Asian (including sushi) and friendly, comfortable places to stay in between the eating, music and medieval life. It's small enough to get around on foot, but there are lots of buses too. You are sure to enjoy it!TundernAustralia - 8.0Scored 8.0

A pleasant little town in the north of the country. It was a pleasure to walk through the restored streets of the old town. There are plenty of restaurants with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Would have been nice to have extended opening hours for the museums and extended time to visit the castle, but our visit coincided with the Easter holiday and this may have been the reason for the reduced opening hours.Konstantins KLatvia - 10Scored 10

It is a beautiful peaceful town in Estonia. A castle for sightseeing. A peacefull parc for recreation. There is also a spa with a 25m swimming pool. In the center village you find old restored buildings which are worth seeing. For shopping there is near the city a shopping mall.

Rakvere ise a Nice little town. There is his own atmosphere. The very first thing you have to to is go to the Old castle hill and touch the Bull desticles, its the thing must to. Then in winter time there was Every december unusual christmas tree in the head square . This year i was seeing an ordonary tree. This was also beatyful, but not Rakvere stile. So I hope that next year there ise something special tree. Of course the super markets Like "Põhjakeskus" and the " Vaala " and the spa " " " Aqua Spa " " ". Nothing to do.
Nothing to do. Got a haircut at a local barbershop and she asked me, "why Rakvere? Nothing here." The castle is pretty uninteresting and this comes from a guy who spends hours at museums reading every placard. Just stay away from this place, truly nothing worth seeing and oddly quiet.

There are parks on the both side of the road. Plenty of free parking space. Rooms are located in different (connected) building than reception. Room was big, equipped with door that had good sound insulation. Comfortable bed. Tasty meals, that can be enjoyed in restaurant or delivered to the room. Pets are allowed, with extra charge of 10€ per pet per night.
