I came here for the snorkelling and was not disappointed. A good coral reef just off the shore, plenty of fish, rays, eels, visibility around 17 metres and water temperature around 27 C. Dahab is a small seaside town; there are plenty of seaside activities. One might think that small size and quant location that life here would be pretty laid back. You would be wrong especially when it comes to driving. The drivers are manical, they are rude and completly wreckless. You should also be careful when eating. Dahab is positive and vibrant. Way more chill than the way too expensive overrated sharm el sheikh! Taxi drivers should be ignored! Dahab has so many so amazing cafes and bars! Perfect for snorkelling and low budget! You can hike u can live easy as digital nomad u can dive in blue hole and elsewhere of course! This was my fourth trip to Dahab but my first in about 15...
This was my fourth trip to Dahab but my first in about 15 years. In my previous trips I loved the scuba diving and the relaxing vibe of the town. When I returned on this trip I was delighted to discover that, even though the town is bigger, Dahab has retained its low-key vibe. The businesses are local, which is part of its charm. This trip was shorter, so I mostly focused on scuba diving. There are lots of other activities, many of which I did on previous trips. In the evenings I went to restaurants. Many have patios, that overlook the red sea. Dahab tends to be a bit windy, so there often was always a nice ocean breeze to keep things cool as the sun set, Idyllic.Guest review byJoanCanada - 10.0

The location is also very nice, right on the beach and just 15 mins walk to the centre of Dahab. The place is designed beautifully and in the room you can find everything you need (hair dryer, iron, shampoo etc). Although, for Egyptians standards it is really small (so keep this in mind). I also extended my stay by two nights and was allowed to keep paying the same rate which was very kind of the Acacia team. All the staff were super friendly and the hotel was kept very clean.
