The building is an old leather tannery with fascinating history that Monica was only too pleased to share with us. We felt completely at home and we are planning to return in September to use the hotel as our base to explore further afield. The hotel itself is well equipped, the room was large and very comfortable with nice views. The staff were friendly a helpful. We didn't use the spa , but we did have both diner and breakfast during our visit. The restaurant for diner was vegetarian, there was a good choice on the menu and the food was excellent.
