On paper, Tierra Buxo is a three-star hotel. In practice, it feels like so much more. The care and attention put into every detail elevate the experience well beyond what the rating suggests. What truly sets this place apart are the hosts Martha and Alfonso. Warm, engaging, and deeply passionate about what they do, they make every stay feel personal. From arranging dinners and breakfasts to offering spot-on local recommendations, nothing feels too much. You sense immediately that this is not just a business to them, it is a labour of love. We rarely return to the same place twice. Tierra Buxo may be the exception. Highly recommended.

An absolutely beautiful location in the Pyrenean foothills. Quiet and very relaxing place to stay with a lovely couple as our hosts. We travelled up from Barcelona and picked up the N260 road across the higher Pyranees and the drive was spectacular! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

This is a fabulous hotel. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the view was sensational. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. They even had gluten-free toast which is hard to find in Spain.

Super location and a pretty, very comfortable room with a lovely view even in rain. Quiet room, fantastic shower. Staff were all kind and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

The staff was incredibly generous and kind. They let us overstay to work there until 15 pm. The place was beautiful and roustic.
