Tramline connecting to Calpe and Benidorm for €2.50 return if you want to see something different. Lovely town, but if you want to spend time in the centre, its best to stay in town or have your own transport. If not, a resort hotel is a good choice too. Altea old town is extremely picturesque, with amazing views of the area. Altea is a beautiful village with an old town center on top of a hill. It's a lively town center with shops, restaurants, live music and beautiful sea views. Altea is a beautiful place to visit for its setting, it's creative shops and it's hospitality. The choice of restaurants are excellent and the ambience of the whole area is very attractive.
