Situated in Guadix, cueva Hobbit features accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The property is 50 km from Granada and free private parking is available. Loved the contrast of old cave but with contemporary furnishings lovely and bright with amazing views very helpful staff would recommend!
Cuevas Hammam Abuelo Jose offer rustic accommodation in caves, located around 20 km from the Sierra Nevada National Park. The complex features a spa, outdoor pool and mountain views. It has beautiful surroundings, the pool is large and the caves offer everything you need and very important: they stay extremely cool during day and night, even when it's 40 degrees outside! The hammam bath experience is very nice, you leave utterly relaxed and revived at the same time. Combine it with a massage and there's nothing more you could wish for! Dogs are allowed (for a rather steep price of €20 per stay) and there are nice walks in the neighbourhood and also directly from the caves, so that's handy when you bring your dog.
Nestled in the Andalusian countryside, this elegant hotel has impressive interiors and an à la carte restaurant. Enjoy views over the fascinating landscapes. Prensa and the other people on reception were exceptionally helpful. The whole place is like a huge 5* hotel when you walk in, yet it is situated just off the A92 between junctions 292 and 293. Excellent stop off for our journey from Torrevieja to Sevilla. We had a choice of places to eat - the cafeteria, and the restaurant. I cannot rate the restaurant since we did not eat there, but the food, choice and service in the cafeteria was second to none. My husband had the double burger with fries, I had the butterfly chicken breast with fries - that plus a caña and a diet Coke came to less than 10€. Unbelievable! There are meal deals though - a basic 3 course is 12€. The bedroom was lovely. A great size, and for once with a comfy chair to sit in. All channels on the TV were in Spanish (of course!), but the wifi was good enough to channel Netflix with on my laptop. I slept like a log, so the bed etc must have been comfortable - hard to say really. Easy parking and a petrol station on site made for a great stay. We paid for the breakfast in advance at 7€ each, but would have been better to just go in the cafeteria the next day and order the food as usual. You just are never sure what to do, but next time we visit - that's what we'll do.
