Benifallet is a typical Catalan village on the banks of the Ebro river. It has a number of excellent restaurants (mainly only open for lunch but one does a reasonably-priced lunch and dinner ‘menú’), and a range of bars for cheap ‘Plato’s combinados’ or tapas. It’s well placed for gravel and road cycling - either up and down the via verde or along the Ebro itself. Plenty to explore around the area too - the Ebro has a rich history including the it’s strategic role in the Civil War.Guest review byAdrianSpain

We often ate breakfast and supper in the accommodation. The scenery is fantastic from the front room, so beautiful looking over the river valley and the village of Benifallet. The owners of the accommodation are so nice, friendly and helpful. There is lots to do in the area also from walking and cycling on the Green Way (Via Verde) to canoeing on the river to visiting historical sites and shopping in nearly towns and villages.Guest review byBernadetteIreland
