Burgos is a walkable city. It takes its time so should you.
Burgos is a walkable city. It takes its time so should you. The Cathedral is beautiful and there is a Monastery 30 min walk away from Plaza Mayor that is a must see (tour are few and far between so check the opening and tour times - they are in Spanish so bring google audio translate if you are not Spanish speaking). We loved the restaurant Mar del Norte for amazing seafood. Read the reviews of other for tapas as we found the plating of food too plentiful at times. The people are really lovely and the city is beautiful. We stayed 10 days because of a dance competition but 3 days should be enough for average tourists.Guest review byMarilyn - 8.0

Burgos is a lovely provincial Spanish town with many great eating options and enough sights to fill more than a couple of days. The cathedral is AMAZING!!!
The cathedral is AMAZING!!! You could spend all day in here and not see everything. Very good interactive app gives you full commentery and explanations of every area. Do download it. Lots of places to eat but everything a bit touristy and of a reasonable quality. The room was very new, very well cleaned and bathroom as well. It takes you 5 minutes max to get to the heart of Burgos walking. We were there on a night when there was a lot of music or a kind of festival, crowded but all very nice ! We left around 5 in the morning to return to Belgium, and the guy at the reception desk was very helpful and professional to explain how to exit the garage.
