Very comfortable bedroom with a large and super nice bed. The size of the room was also excellent, large enough for our luggage not to be in the middle. The toilet was clean, really spacious and super nice. The whole building felt like it had been renewed very recently and the facilities were top. We had breakfast in the hotel and it was always excellent. The staff was very friendly and gave us great advice to move around. The location is perfect to move around the areas near Irati, making it ideal for those who seek a peaceful place to rest after some hiking. We loved our stay and we'd love to visit Basque Irati again.

Very large room, comfortable beds, right on the camino frances trail, and a very welcoming bathtub to soak aching muscles. A la carte breakfast bar looked fabulous, although we skipped it as we wanted to hit the trail before taking a breakfast break. Great value!

    If you are doing El Camino and have the energy for the extra 1.6 miles (2.6kms) on flat terrain, I'd recommend the longer stride to Burguete, since it offers a few more amenities than Roncesvalles. Buen Camino
