Hotel de Francia y Paris is located on Plaza San Franciso, 1640 feet from Cádiz Port and 15 minutes’ walk from the beach. Some rooms have a balcony. The hotel is located in a small attractive square and is opposite to restaurants with outside tables. Nearly all of the historic sites are within easy walking distance through numerous old narrow streets and attractive squares. The hotel itself is like a miniature chateau with high ceilings and beautiful decor and I was lucky enough to have a large room on the second floor with two large windows that opened out onto the square. The chimes of the church clock next door kept me regularly informed of the time but it was quiet during the night. It really is a charming place to stay
Hotel in Old Town, Cádiz
Set in a XVIII century building, Hotel Alquimia Cadiz is located in Cádiz Historic City Center. This property offers an Andalusian patio and a rooftop terrace with views of the bay. A very comfortable and charming hotel right in the middle of old town Cadiz. All of the major attractions of the old town are within easy walking distance of the hotel. Many options for restaurants are very close with a major town square only a 100 meters, or so, away. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed. The building itself is very old but updated to provide a comfortable space and amenities. There is a roof top terrace that has a commanding view of the city and would be a great hang out area during a warmer time of year. The beds were very comfortable and the heating system worked very well. Parking arrangements for the car, while always difficult in an old town, were more than adequate and provided relatively easy access. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved the ambiance , the weather was perfect, sunny, warm but not excessively hot. Food and drink are incredibly reasonable and a great variety. The market was perfect. The old town is compact and charming. I ate in Contrasena on Plaza Candelaria excellent.
I stayed in Cadiz for 6 days and I found it very interesting. There is alot of cultural heritage as well as natural beauty to see. Fortresses, beaches and especially beautiful parks were the best part of my experience. Food was good as well and people were very friendly, but almost nobody speaks any other language than Spanish.
Beautiful city! Perfect for a city break by the sea! Cadiz is very small so easy to walk everywhere. Lots to see, fantastic sea food. We were lucky enough to be there for part of the week long Carnival which was amazing! It’s usually in February so we’ll worth visiting to see the amazing performances and parades!
The Old Town is tiny: a walk from one side to the other takes lass than 30 minutes, meaning that you can visit everything you might want to within 4-5 days. The inhabitants are friendly and their town and beaches kept very clean. Our abiding memory is the music provided by talented street musicians which is audible through much of the day.
Cadiz is lovely. It is clean and bright. There is a swim beach, the water is a little cool for the end of May. The town is walkable and safe. Lots of shops and restaurants. You can find everything there.
Cadiz itself is a historical place. The oldtown is very pretty. The beaches along the side are gorgeous and have perfect weather. I was there end of May. It was already sunny but very nice sea breeze. Temperature is mild because of the wind from the atlantic. You can walk along the beach to reach the oldtown from Victoria beach. Bus is reliable, comfortable and cheap. It is also not too far from Jerez de la Frontera, if you want to see some more historical sites.
We loved the contemporary features of the hotel. The view of the sea from our balcony was fantastic. The room was simply delightful. The food was unusual, but carefully selected from local products and was delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful, especially when I lost my camera (left behind in a taxi) and they were able to contact the taxi services and I was over the moon to get it back just before we left Cadiz. In fact, we were both impressed by the professionalism of the staff throughout the hotel.
Beautiful apartment located right on the Plaza de San Francisco. Modern & stylish. Easy access to the center of old town of Cadiz— walk everywhere. Great for families— 2nd bedroom had two beds and a pocket door. It was also great to have an oven, which isn’t typical in many apartment rentals. The manager was responsive and communicative. Two beautiful windows with views into the plaza. We were able to park at an underground parking facility at Plaza San Antonio, then walk a few blocks to the apartment.
Lovely hotel set in a 'casa señorial', homely and welcoming. The staff were cheerful and very helpful. The whole place was clean and well kept. The bedroom was big with a spacious bathroom. In the central patio and in the solarium were a number of plants which made it seem that the windows opened on to a garden. There is a roof terrace where one can get a panoramic view of Cadiz. There is a roof terrace bar. In my opinion, one of the best places I've stayed in, in Cadiz.
Cádiz
The hostel didn't look like much from the outside, but quite lovely on the inside with a patio and furnished/decorated with love. Bathroom was outside of room, but there is almost one per room, so we never had to wait. Also, we had a sink within the room. Location was good, but to be fair, since Cádiz is small, every location within the old town is good :) Last but not least: Friendly host and various amenities available, for example we could borrow a beach umbrella.
The apartment is exceptional in every respect. It is located minutes from the train station, an easy walk to beaches, the market, restaurants, historical sites, etc. The terrace is huge, with a spectacular view (both day and night) over Càdiz. The apt is spacious, very comfortable, and very well equipped — induction stovetop, washer/dryer, dishwasher, utensils, bath and beach towels, etc. Javier was very responsive and helpful.
Cádiz
This place without doubt the best place I have ever stayed in Cadiz, the best location for everything right on your door step. It's 5 star accomodation. Super fast WiFi, bathrooms immaculate, amazing roof terrace, very very secure with pass codes for entrance. Can't recommend highly enough, the staff went way and beyond and nothing was a hassle. Beds amazingly comfortable, free Netflix and Prime. Will defo be back!!!
Comfy hostal and nice welcoming hosts. I especially want to thank the receptionist girl who greeted me on my arrival / l think her name is Annabel. She was friendly and enthusiastic about her job and gave me a great introduction to things of touristic interest in Cadiz which really bade a difference to my stay and helped me discover and enjoy many aspects of Cadiz l would have missed . Thank you !!
Anna is a wonderful host and her flat is a charming place located in the middle of the historic city centre with a stunning view over one of the nicest places in Cadiz. I enjoyed my stay a lot and she had plenty of good recommendations for activities and good food - certainly the best accommodation during my bike trip through Andalusia. Can't wait to return and stay again with her!
Cádiz
Nice hotel in the city center. Small but cozy room and very clean. Easy reachable, no way to get directly to the entrance with the car, but very easy walk (200 m) from the central parking garage at the harbor. We had everything that we needed and would choose this place again if we came back to Cádiz. Breakfast places nearby and plenty of restaurants also in the area.
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. As a solo traveler, I felt extremely welcomed, safe, and comfortable. The hotel staff was also stellar. Maria was super helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to share information with me about Cadiz. Highly recommended!
Given that quality accommodation is frustratingly scarce in Cadiz’s old town, this hotel is an ok option in a sea of poor options and bad value. The best that can be said of Hotel Argantonio is that it’s clean, quiet, in the old town and the staff was friendly.
This hotel is a good choice for a stay in Cadiz. It is located close to the heart of the city and about 1.5km from La Caleta beach, so even a swim in the Ocean is possible. The breakfast buffet is good, so I can recommend this hotel for a stay in Cadiz.
A perfect location to explore the historic part of Cadiz. The hotel is in a lovely square with bars and about twenty minutes walk from the railway station. Would definitely go back again. The bonus was the amazing view from the bedroom window!
Nice boutique hotel. Well located and clean. Christian at the front desk did an outstanding job in orienting us to the hotel the history of the city restaurants and sites to see
It’s a very clean and modern hotel and close to all you might need in Cadiz. We parked in the station and walked over but there is a closer car park.
A super boutique hotel in the centre of the old town. Very nice helpful lady running it
right in the centre of Cadiz old town, close to the cathedral exceptionally clean
Cádiz
Nice hotel in the old town. 15 min walk to the city hall square. Nice staff
