Calpe was beautiful, it is well located so you can visit other places also like Benissa, Altea and Alicante (all by car and train I believe). The beach front at Calpe is lovely, clean, friendly. The Saturday market was fun and it was great to see the old salt marsh with flamingos! It is a very hilly town so be warned there are steep hills to climb. We love Calpe, have been coming for 30 yrs, even then my Dad thought it was becoming too built up, he always wondered where everyone would park but it hasn’t seemed to change the wonderful feel of the town. Love Calpe and we have been visiting since 2012.
Love Calpe and we have been visiting since 2012. Lots of new buildings going up so it is changing a lot. Good bus service. Lots of great places to eat. Our sons went sailing on a Hobie from a place a little further up from La Fossa beach.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The "old town" end of Calpe is excellent.
The "old town" end of Calpe is excellent. I've visited the "newer" end previously and it was more like a nice version of Benidorm. West of the Ifach and old town is where to go.Guest review bySteven

Our pleasant, comfortable and clean room on the seventh floor was reached by lift directly from the underground secure car park. Especially useful when you have a lot of luggage and have some mobility problems. The view from our balcony was superb, breakfast provided an extensive choice and was delicious. We are travelling a lot, and this house in Calpe (Cucarres) was extremely good, especially views and nature surrounding. We were 6 person and we had enough chairs and all kitchen utensils.
