This pleasant guest house is set in a quiet rural setting in Moratinos, a small town on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route. It offers comfortable rooms with a balcony, TV and free Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful host. Found us accommodation for the next day as we were walking the Camino. Menu of the day was very good.
Set in a former monastery in Carrion de los Condes, the hotel is located near to the Santiago pilgrimage route. Rooms in Hotel Real Monasterio de San Zoilo look onto the beautiful gardens. The experience of visiting a sleeping in a real monastery was amazing and worth the money. The place is beautiful, interesting and we felt great to have the possibility to walk around the premises. It's like a maze where you can find something to tease your curiosity at every little corner. It's a type of hotel you don't get to experience very often - with huge historic value and at the same time luxurious feeling. The room was big and the bathroom clean and tidy. We are happy with the comfort of the beds. Exploring the place was a great addition to the value. Once again, we are happy that we stayed there!
This charming guest house is located right on the Camino de Santiago, opposite the Santa María Church in Carrión de los Condes. It offers rooms with attached bathroom and an excellent restaurant. Location was perfect, the set up is excellent with a lovely patio outside your room, the restaurant on site had great value menu of the day and the service was exceptional- particularly Jose who helped us with a taxi when it looked like we were doomed! We will be back next year and definitely staying here!
Featuring a spacious courtyard including a well and seating area, Casa del Recaudador is a characteristic 19th-century Spanish house located in Quintinilla de Onsona, 5 mi from Saldaña town. The house is very picturesque and atmospheric - hidden behind a wall in a very small and very quiet village in the middle of fields. In the hot weather the courtyard is great to sit in in the shade. The house is comfortable with more or less all the necessary things. The hosts - Mario and Rosa are very nice indeed and were very easy to communicate with, and very helpful with suggestions. Good value for money in a part of the country which is not on the main tourist trail;. The local town Saldana is worth a visit and the Vila Olmeda is stunning - if you are into Roman sites then this is one of the very best anywhere in the world.
