Located just 164 feet from Canet Beach, Hotel Playa Canet has an outdoor pool and tennis court. Its air-conditioned rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a plasma TV and a private terrace. The location is excellent, just across the road from not only a beach but a Marina that also has a small bar, the welcoming "Hola" and smile from the receptionist was delightful as was the service I received from all the staff.
Located in Canet de Berenguer, within 1.4 mi of Puerto de Sagunto Beach, Apartamento Con Preciosas Vistas Al Mar y WIFI offers accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and a seasonal outdoor... Excellent host, great view, clean rooms! Very close to the beach, great location!
Located only at 20-25 minutes drive from Valencia city, it has a wonderful beach. The village invests lots of efforts to keep the beach clean: dogs not allowed, very cristal clear water, with presence safe guards in September. Beach not crowded: few couples with kids, grand parents, less young people around though. Walking to Porto Sangut is only 20 minutes from Canet if you like to have additional choices of restaurants and see more crowd. I spent 2 days earlier in the Valencia, no safe guards at this time of the year: I heard that 5 people were drown that weekend. I had to safe myself with another guy someone in danger (weather too windy).
Honestly, we arrived late that day and left early the next day, therefore we did not have the occasion to take advantage of the wonderful surroundings. But what I saw was very nice. Good service and very helpful staff.
We found this hotel/town via booking.com - never heard of Canet d’en Berenguer before and we only live an hour or so away! We will definitely return when it’s quieter (lots of children at the moment) Such a lovely place
nice quiet beach town away from all the tourists. The beach was clean and bot many people on it despite it being great weather, mainly locals and Spaniards. supermarkets and pharmacy available. When we travelled to canet it did seem like we going into the middle of nowhere but it was very pleasant and the people were very nice. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Valencia city. I think more than a week would be boring and if you don't have a car you would be stuck so definetly have a car hired.
It was quite abadonned out of season, most of places closed in September/October. You get hungry between 4 and 8 pm, kitchen is closed. No restaurant with english menu or EN speaking staff. Playgrounds are ok, though they are not always in 100% condition. The beach is very nice and clean. Very easy parking for free.
Very busy place with few foreign tourists, so restaurants not open until 8.30 pm or later. Clearly loved by the Spaniards as a town. Good as a transit stay but I wouldn't want to spend a holiday there. We used it as a stopover travelling from Cartagena to Narbonne for 2 nights and it was very good for us.
The location is excellent, just across the road from not only a beach but a Marina that also has a small bar, the welcoming "Hola" and smile from the receptionist was delightful as was the service I received from all the staff.
Good value, perfect breakfasts
