Situated just 20 minutes' drive from the beaches of the Costa de Luz, this hotel is decorated in cheerful colours with a very pleasant glass-roofed lounge and a typically Andalusian central courtyard.... The room was excellent, value for money, convenient location. Perfect for my needs at that time
Just 2 km from Barrosa Beach of the Andalusian coast, this hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, a charming cafe with an open-air terrace, where you can enjoy a traditional breakfast. The design of the Hotel, very beautiful and comfortable.

Friendly locals and plenty of eating places. Should have done more research on buses and taxis as total area of Chiclana much bigger than realised. We drove around as much as possible. Shopped at a local Lidl, which was amazing and reasonably priced. Coffees and snack cafes were cheap in comparison to U.K.
We really enjoyed the beaches near Chiclana (La Barossa & Sancti Petri) and a bit further Barbate, Conil de la Frontera, El Palmar,Tarifa) as well. Visited some little towns: Jerez, Vejer de la Frontera & Tarifa. The worst thing there is that oeople can't speak English and most of the restaurants and tapas bars don't have English menus. We were robbed near Tarifa while we were on the brach!!!
It is a city has everything. There are lots of supermarkets- Dia, Supersol, Mercadona and Carrefure etc. Local people are friendly, helpful and approachable while asking the directions and places. Since it was an Easter period, the public area was relatively quiet.
Chiclana lives for tourists! Great location if you have a car to visit Medina Sidonia, Cadiz, Jerez, etc. But parking for the beaches can be a problem. Good choice of restaurants of all types. Numerous golf courses. Sun.
The town seems to be very newly developed so it is clean and well serviced. Has a very good food market. We stayed and enjoyed the beach Barrosa and the surrounding area. You can do water sports such as kayaking, surfing, sailing, paddle surf, boat trip etc near by. Lots of Spanish tourists, the beach was packed ! The beach has a blue flag, so it is clean, has all the good facilities for bathers including beach bars (but not too many). The area along the beach has no high-rise buildings or ugly block of apartments, which was really nice, and there are plenty of car parks, parking zones along the main road bear the beach and it is well maintained and well-served. There are good restaurants on and off the beach. The prices were very competitive.
Just used Chiclana as a place to stay to access beaches, coastal towns and Cadiz. Visited town on first day and eventually found a restaurant, but did not appear to have a great choice of places to eat, nor much atmosphere

Excellent location. It is not necessary to wind through the narrow streets. Immediately after the arrival in the town the first street to the left, the car can be left in the parking lot at the entrance to the town next to the hotel. The house is small, but with modern renovation, comfortable.

Family owned hotel. 7 minutes to the beach (not so crowded as other ones). We were on a honeymoon at this hotel and Casa Grande provided us champagne as a welcome gift :-) Very helpful and kind personnel, unique design of each room. And YES, it's just like on photos :-))

There was a noise problem the first 3 nights which staff bent over backwards to fix, even moving us to their side of the building for a night. The problem appears to have been 2 rowdy parties back to back, which was unprecedented.

It was quiet, off street parking, this would be perfect for young people travelling. The owner lives within the grounds and is very happy to help with any questions or issues.
