United KingdomThe care, consideration & brilliant customer service given by Angel, the manager of Area 202. He contacted Booking.com for us but got no helpful assistance, so arranged refreshments for us whilst he tried to sort the problem out.
In the end he found us alternate accommodation and paid for it out of his own money.
Booking.com need to reimburse him with the €70 he paid for our overnight hotel plus the 2 hours of his time & the cost of the calls he made on his phone on our behalf.

Daroca is a fortified medieval town with well preserved architecture and old narrow cobbled streets and pretty squares. It is easy to get around and compact. The Hotel Cienbalcones is a magnificent hotel set in a beautiful town of Daroca and for me an ideal stop on the way to Santander from The Costa Blanca. Cobbled streets , lots of small cafeterias to choose from . Very friendly people . Obliging with directions. And lots of historic buildings with typical Spanish architecture. This is a small town with a lot of history in it's buildings
This is a small town with a lot of history in it's buildings It's Walls and up to the Moorish fort are so scenic and offer a lot of walking, it really is a bit lost in time. The part with the restaurant is old with a beautiful garden. Then there is a more modern annex opposite where I stayed. The dinner was good and economical and the breakfast was excellent too.
