Hotel in Deia
Set in pine forest and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, this adults-only hotel is located near the small town of Deia. Costa D'or hotel is designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape. I loved the view over the Mediterranean, the property's architecture and surrounding nature, the *staff was super friendly, and I had the most delicious cod of my life and lovely rosé wines at the restaurant. *The staff is accommodating to my food allergies, and I got a nice glass of cava when I arrived: I appreciate small gestures like this.

La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, Mallorca is located in the charming artist village of Deià, Mallorca. Everything was amazing, a great stay and a memorable stay. First time in belmond and definitely won’t be my last time. Amazing hospitality and service. A big thanks to the staff and to Mr. Thomas the manager for the nice stay. Would highly recommend people to book with eyes closed.

Featuring a terrace and bar, Hostal Villa Verde-Adults Only is located in the quiet area of Deia, just a 5-minute walk from San Juan Bautista Church. The view was incredible. The staff was very friendly as well. We've been in Palma for 9 days and we can both say that our 2 day stay at Deia was the highlight of the trip.

Deia
This small romantic hotel is set in a renovated country house dating from the 17th-century, still retaining many characterful original features. Don’t know where to start! This place exceeded every expectation we had. It looked good on the photos but when you arrive it is simply spectacular! The views are incredible you find yourself lost at times just staring at the mountains, sea and view of deia village. We booked the grand suite with pool and it was fantastic, like having your own hillside villa. If anything looking online doesn’t show you the true beauty of the hotel, grounds and views Above everything was the staff that also make it, too many to name in this review, from the breakfast staff, everyone working around the hotel, staff at es pis restaurant; which was great. I need to leave a special mention for Jaime the general manager, he was so great, welcoming and friendly. Deia and Cala deia are a 20 minute walk which in the midday heat isn’t ideal. So he organized a car for us to rent which was brought to the hotel and really helped exploring deia, soller, Valldemossa etc. the night before we rented the car we had a taxi booked to take us to a restaurant in deia which was difficult to get a booking. The taxi didn’t turn up due to some delay and Jaime gave us a lift in his own car and we got there on time, just so nice. All the staff will go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. Also another member of staff (feel so bad as we didn’t exchange names because he was so friendly we just chatted like friends ha a really nice English guy who’d been living in Spain for over 10 years) also gave us a lift into deia one night when he and his partner saw we were about to walk in. He gave us loads of information on restaurants, places to see and his recommendations were great. Even better he introduced us to bill and bob aswell as Apple. I won’t spoil the surprise but they are a magical addition to a wonderful hotel. Saludos. See you again

Having first visited Deia over 30 years ago I was saddened by the changes. During the day this small hill village is packed with tourists and traffic. There are lots of small cafes and restaurants to keep everyone fed and watered but the pavements are narrow and the number of people don’t make for a relaxing visit. I’m afraid it has lost it’s charm.
Deia is one of the prettiest places I have ever been, definitely a hidden gem of Spain that I don't think many people associate with Mallorca. The buildings are exquisite, the tranquility soothing and the hotels 5 star!
The ambience of a small village but with superb shops and restaurants. Having previously lived in Deia the steps and hills one had to negotiate were not a surprise but for those visiting Deia for the first time it may be a bit of a shock. And those folks with mobility issues, Deia can be a challenge. A fabulous place that draws you back and gets in your soul.
There is a very pleasant hotel with lovely staff down in Deia itself. We would recommend Hotel D'es Puig. A great walk to the beach itself but that was really crowded. The Robert Graves House/Museum/Garden was stunning last time we visited. The work of Artist Alan Hydes at La Residencia, Deia is inspirational. DEE Diana Cosford
Deia is amazing but for some like me preferable in the winter months to the summer when there are FAR less people about. Visting some of the EXCELLENT restaurants in the area and taking some of the best hikes on island is fantastic. When quiet Deia is a gem in the Tramontana.
We have been visiting Deia on and off for over 20 years, usually in October. It is a stunning location with great views down the valley and of the mountains. It can be very busy and yet at some times of day can still be very quiet. We always ensure we can eat at Sebastians. However we were slightly disappointed with the more expensive Es Raco where we were eating this time in almost total darkness.
Clara met us on arrival, helped us navigate the road in, and did a great job letting us know about the surrounding area and house itself. She was super friendly and informative. Located in an olive grove, surrounded by charming sheep, and a pretty walk to nearby Deia beach and the village itself, the house was the absolute perfect place for exploring or just sipping wine and watching the sunset. I can't recommend it enough; we'll definitely be back.
Location is fantastic which is one reason why we returned there after 2 year COVID break. Views are also beautiful (if you can see them) Breakfast was fresh & attractively presented. Vicente at the evening meal was gracious, attentive, efficient & lovely. Tomeu on reception at check out (and during email contact) was also personable, friendly & helpful. Vicente & Tomeu are assets to the Hoposa in Deia and good ambassadors to the hotel group.
Deia
Amazing place with soul and history. Lady who runs it is super nice, she might not know English but that's not a problem as she will be so nice to you and you will be able to communicate. She prepares breakfast. Hostal has amazing view and garden. There is a parking space. This is not 4star hotel where you are a random person - this is a house with host so nice that you feel home :)
Deia
Perfectly positioned in the hills overlooking Deia and the coast. A stunning small estate with beautiful bedrooms, exquisite food and wine and delightful staff. Gardens are fabulous also with so many lovely places to sit and enjoy a drink or book. Probably need a car as Deia is a 25 min walk but the hotel helpfully book taxis and restaurants also.
Very nice location in the old part of Deia. Beautiful terrace and view. The beds are confortable and showers powerful. You're better off with a small car, the streets are very small.
Breakfast was wonderful, the staff was so helpful and accommodating, and the hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful. Also loved the private beach!
