Lucia was a gracious host. When we arrived exhausted from a day’s walking, she welcomed us with cold drinks and a relaxing smile. Check-in was a breeze, and we were taken to our comfortable room to recover for the afternoon. Lucia is an exceptional chef! The supper she prepared us was delicious and the breakfast was over the top gourmet. Maria was attentive and charming with her supper service. I wish we would of found this place sooner, I could not find another flight to stay longer, I was so in love with this place, it was beautiful, I am even thinking of going back to Spain just so I can stay at this place, the food from the restaurant down the street was fantastic, the best I had my entire 3 weeks I was in Portugal and Spain. The location for us was perfect!
The location for us was perfect! We had a car so could get around to see as many of the sights recommended!! The venue is predominantly used by walkers and the staff are very attentive to their needs! There is a lovely woodland walk along the stream to the river behind the water mill.
