Espinama is a beautiful little town. Hostal Remoña is a gem. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The small deck off our room was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. We had the best dinner of our whole trip there. The meats and cheeses are locally sourced. We actually talked to two other couples the next day on the trail who recognized us from the restaurant. They were staying at other hotels, but came to Remoña for the excellent food. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality. They put out an incredible spread for breakfast. Yum! There is a great trail system with several routes that leads out from Espinama. I just wish we had booked more nights to take advantage of them. It's an easy 15 minutes drive to the Fuenta de Cable Car.

This place doesn't look much from outside, but we were really surprised by the facilities. Great night sleep, secure motorbike parking, free tea coffee facilities... .even there are small cakes in the room for us. quality toiletries and towels. well impressed.

Beautiful, authentic hotel in the heart of the mountains. The room was small but cozy. The area is lovely and well kept, and the pool with mountain views was a highlight. Staff were friendly and very accommodating.

    Stunning area. We visited in early spring.

    Stunning area. We visited in early spring. Beautiful lush green of the hills and some trees, and snow capped mountains everywhere. Quiet and peaceful time to visit with little tourists around. Snow still falling up on the mountains at Fuente de. Highly recommend. The drive up to Espinama is currently being repaired, but driving up through the valley alongside the river. Stunning.

    A charming little town in an incredible national park.

    A charming little town in an incredible national park. Apart from initially having trouble with parking, we were visiting outside peak tourist season, so not too difficult. There's only a few streets to explore in Espinama, which is all part of it's charm. Most are original/older buildings with a few newer ones, sympathetically built to complement the town. Enroute for the camino. Just lovely and we far preferred it to the large lodge up the road. We felt like we were staying in "Spain proper." We had an evening meal at Bar Máximo, on the main road. The artichokes for a started and peppers stuff with Hake. Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. They helped make our one night stay there a special memory.

    The bed was very comfortable, the shower very good, lovely view from the window and we could hear the stream below with the window open. Check in and out was easy, parking nearby, and the restaurant for breakfast and where we also ate in the evening was excellent. Helpful staff, who also speak English, ideally located in a pretty village, especially if you are walking down from the Fuente De peaks as the path comes down to Espinama.

    Location, was perfect for visiting Picos de Europa. THe hotel Staff was lovely and did their best to assist even without English language. Evenning restaurant was amazing and I really enjoyed it. On another hand the Breakfast althoug it was included in the price was very simple and could have more to offer. Place is nicely located with good staff to help out and with cosy atmosphere. THank you.

    Cozy house with a unique atmosphere and nice terrace. Espinama is a nice place to stay. Nicely renovated bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful owners. We had some minor problem with bathroom door and they have managed a quick repair. They kindly accepted our feedback.

    The location in Espinama is stunning. The apartment was beautiful, really great value for money and we had an amazing stay with family. Would definitely recommend! We booked a 2 bed apartment but ended up with a 4 bed!
