Locations was fabulous and lady on reception was superb.
An elegant and modern hotel, this establishment is located in an exclusive setting in the residential area of Hondarribia with views of Jaizkibel Mountain. It is 10 minutes' walk to the town center.
We were most impressed by the friendly helpful staff.

Hondarribia is more intimate than its larger cousin - San Sebastian - just a short drive away. The old town as one can imagine is full of history and interesting buildings. The newer part of the town has the beach and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes.
There is enough to keep a couple entertained for several days. If you want a drive over the mountains there is a twisty road to San Sebastian well worth a try.
Recommended for a couple to visit - probably not great for kids unless in the summer for the beach.

Old Town was brilliant.
Old Town was brilliant.
Great base to visit San Sebastián & a short boat ride across the harbour to Hendaye (France), which we knew nothing about but where the beach & the promenade were a real (pleasant!) surprise.

A wonderful town with a lot of character and great views of the river/bay. I would love to go back. The restaurant area is nice, as is the walking area by the water. Find free parking near the large grocery store and walk in. Hard to find parking

There were things I wanted to do and see but the weather wasn’t great. I think it’s over hyped and over priced in relation to the food. San Sebastián was much better and had more choice and was much better value. The area is of course beautiful and the old town was worth seeing but it does have its limitations.

Lovely place to use as base for day trips to Biaritz an San Sebastiaan. It also has a wide sandy beach, lovely promenade and wide leafy pedestrian walkways. The old town and the colourful old buildings are very interesting.

Very nice little town right at the border with France, giving you the opportunity to visit places at the both sides of the Basque country. It has very nice sandy beach at the end of the quite a long walkway where people walk, ride bikes, rollers, skates. You can enjoy sitting at the nice cafeterias around the city, but the main experience is actually the medieval, fortified city center located few minutes walk from the sea. Narrow streets, beautiful stone buildings, nice restaurants, small town squares. Definitely a city worth of visiting!

Clean, standard hotel room in superb location and professional, friendly staff. Right on the doorstep of excellent plazas and restaurants and only a short stroll to the Old Town. Free parking only 10-15 minutes walk away, but you could also park at the front of the hotel for 10 minutes for free while you drop your bags off or re-load them.
Amazing location and super friendly staff! They were so helpful with reccomendations etc. We were really lucky to get one of the hotel's two parking spots, which are free and really close by. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was especially lovely and clean!
I had asked for parking so was given a 'garage' within underground parking just across the road from the hotel so very secure. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well appointed, bathroom spotless. Good location to walk to old town and restaurants.
Hondaribbia is a great place to stay ... compact, good places to eat and close enough to visit both San Sebastian and St Jean de Luz.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful, the Hotel Obispo is an old Palace ... a good place to stay.
Lovely, clean hotel. Helpful and courteous staff. Wonderful visiting Hondarribia and seeing this part of Spain. Beautiful little town with interesting history.
