The room it was very clean, new interior, the hotels its not in the city center, but it was near to the metro and its needed 10-15 minutes with metro to center. i like everything, good AC, comfortable beds, good comunication with the hostest. you have to pay city tax 0,66€ per night per person when you arrived in the hotel. you can drink free tea or coffe in the reception.

The hotel looks sweet. We were told by the taxi driver that it is in the safe area. There are small restaurants and bakeries around. The staff was amazing. We communicated with Mica, and she was very hospitable and helpful. The connection with the other parts of Barcelona we visited is very good. We mostly used the subway, and it was really easy to get around .

Icons of Sport and Architecture

L’Hospitalet de Llobregat is roughly midway between Barcelona El Prat Airport and the centre of the Catalan capital, which makes it a popular accommodation choice. Although now effectively a Barcelona suburb, it is actually a separate city and is one of the most densely populated in the EU, which means no shortage of cheap hostels, modern apartments and luxury hotels on Booking.com.

One of these – the Hesperia Hotel – is a landmark in its own right, as its bulbous tower encloses a panoramic restaurant. Other innovative skyscrapers pepper the skyline – a sign of the city’s financial importance. Fira Barcelona Montjuic is a busy exhibition centre and across the road is the large Gran Via 2 Shopping Centre.

Metro stations on the Gran Via connect Hospitalet de Llobregat to Plaça d'Espanya. It is also linked to Barcelona Sants by trains from the station near El Centre, the oldest district. Narrow Carrer Xipreret is lined with pastel-coloured buildings and a historic building around the corner houses the Hospitalet History Museum. Another interesting structure is the Can Sumarro library and the surrounding shops, cafés and bars reflect the diverse population.

In the north, near Barcelona’s Les Corts district, is the iconic Nou Camp stadium, home of world-famous FC Barcelona.

    I liked the connection and the location, breakfast was good

    I liked the connection and the location, breakfast was good I didn’t like the smell in the room from the bathroom, air conditioning was smelling ugly and it was not cleaned the grill was dirty. Hotel needs an upgrade.

    Disappointing after our careful selection < ie to stay this time on the fringes of Barcelona > to experience a more contemporary hotel design . Everything about the facility is set to achieve a minimum operational cost and the design of most aspects needs review ...ie as for a tiny bathroom basin on a wooden bench ....ugh... unbelievable

    Great location with excellent transport connections – the metro (direct line from the airport) and several buses run through Collblanc Avenue, making it easy to reach the city center. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby, a charming bakery, and a local market just around the corner. The apartment is also close to Camp Nou stadium. The neighborhood felt safe and local. We had a delicious meal at the Italian restaurant Don Corleone – the pizza, pasta, and risotto were all great, and the prices were very reasonable!

    Actually I don't really know Hospitalet de Llobregat as such...

    Actually I don't really know Hospitalet de Llobregat as such, other then that the hotel I staid at is located there. So rating the hotel and its surroundings I can say it is very convenient for coming from/going to the airport and to go to Barcelona. It is well served by public transport. The Fira area is very modern, wide and spacious set-up and very green (trees and parks). There are many restaurants around, as well as a and IKEA and a shopping mall (Gran Via 2).

    We went for a week in March unfortunately we had 5 days of rain but still managed although it was coldish. The area is very quite and good for a relaxed vacation. People are very nice and most of them can communicate in easy English. Choose wisely the restaurants and check menus outside if possible.

    The management staff was very friendly and attentive. They were well versed in English. The cleaning and laundry staff did a very good job as well. Metro is only 4 minutes walk from here. Many buses stop right I'm front of it. A Variety of hotels with different cuisines nearby. For sports fans, the Camp Nou is at the walking distance. Some art in the room will add more to the cultural Barcelona experience.

    We booked this hotel last minute as our flights were delayed overnight. We arrived late and got an excellent room on the 20th floor. The next day we caught the train into the city - the location was close to the airport but about a 25min train ride to the city. The train was really easy to catch and cost next to nothing :)

    We started in Alicante for one night in a 3 star hotel location was absolutely brilliant right by the station very very clean as much coffee or tea that you wanted staff was very good I would say this hotel that we stayed in in Barcelona is only a 3 star not a four and a half stars
