Surrounded by lush gardens, the Sherry Park Hotel offers a large outdoor swimming pool and rooms with free WiFi. It is 15 minutes’ walk from the historical centre of Jerez. We enjoyed our stay very, very much. The hotel room was large and comfortable, extremely clean. The shower was excellent- hot water, the shower heads that spray right into lower back, great water pressure. Lots of room to put out vanity items. Also loved the balcony, though next time I will ask for a room with pool view. The hotel staff was excellent, extremely helpful, professional and friendly. The pool area and bar are beautiful. Food was outstanding especially the sangria and garlic shrimp. And as long as you carry Cardinal Mendoza, my husband is a happy camper :) . Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Jerez de la Frontera is a great place to visit. Lots of history and great places to visit. There are loads of little squares with great architecture and great bars and restaurants. Jerez is all about exploring and wandering down the side streets. Tapas is excellent and there are a great choice of restaurants depending on your budget. A must is a tour around a sherry bodegas and Gonzalez Byass (Tio Pepe) is well worth the money and in the centre of Jerez.
Beautiful city. Very friendly people. Very clean streets. The people are very proud of their city. There was much to see in Jerez. We also took advantage of the super train service and had a day in Cadiz. There are a multitude of bars and restaurants in Jerez and we thoroughly enjoyed trying the tapas and sherry! It was so quick to transfer between the hotel and the airport. We left our hotel room at 8am by 8.30am we had passed through security at the airport and were having a coffee. How good was that! We shall certainly make the same trip again. What a lovely break.
It's probably the best town to stay to explore Cadiz region. Though less picturesque than other nearby locations, it's conveniently located at 40-60 min drive to nice, sandy beaches like Roche or Palmares, beautiful towns like Arcos and Vejer, and to go for a green getaway in the mountains of Benamahoma. Lots of flamenco show options. If you're planning to move around the area the best way is renting a car, the area is poorly connected by public transport aside of train between Cádiz and Jérez.
The town was a fair bit bigger than we expected but everything was a fairly comfortable 40-60min walk from our apartment on the Eastern outskirts of Jerez. The main plaza area with fountains and shops was pleasant and we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. I'd certainly like to come back.
Walking around the historic centre and seeing the old palaces and buildings especially the Alcazar and cathedral. A great view from the bell tower next to the cathedral (93 steps). Lots of lovely plazas with bars and restaurants. Enjoyed trying sherries and tapas at the local tabancos. Highlight was theAndalusian horse show at Fundacion real escuela Andalusia del arte ecuestre (Tuesdays and Thursdays) but a tour of stables and carriage museum also available on other days. Note most bodegas (sherry cellar) trips are not open on Mondays.
We enjoyed Jerez, Cadiz and El Puerto de Santa Maria very much. There is much to do and see. We took the Hop-on-Hop-Off box in Cadiz and it was well worth it. Don't miss the Alcázar de Jerez, quite amazing and great views. But most of all don't miss the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, even if you cannot make the show. The grounds are beautiful and you can always watch the training rings. We were also fortunate to make the trip to attend feria, another bucket list item. Enjoy the sherry, sangria, and sea food. I do hope we make it back here. The best Spain trip yet.
Jerez de la Frontera
It is a modern apartment. All the materials are of high quality and everything is in good order. The lighting in many Spanish hotel rooms and in the bathrooms, is usually terrible. That is not the case here. It is excellent. The apartment is located on a quiet side street but only one block away from the heart of the beautiful center of historic Jerez. Any minor problems or any questions you might have are dealt with immediately by Marcos. I loved staying here. Thanks Marcos!
Jerez de la Frontera
The host, Carmen was the most lovely person I meet in my whole trip to Spain. She make me love Jerez since day want to the point we wanted to book and stay more days. She is very helpful with everything, food, places, activities and most important and her specialty... Wines! I would like to visit again Jerez and stay again with her.
We stayed in 6 hotels and apartments over our 2 week trip and this was the best place we stayed by far! The receptionist was really helpful and friendly giving us lots of tips on how to park our car for free, what sights are must sees and restaurants etc! The rooms are really clean and a nice size and the lobby is beautiful too!
Jerez de la Frontera
The owner is super friendly and helpful, making our experience in Jerez so much better. The hotel is very cozy and clean and super quiet. It has a very warm and homey feeling. The breakfast is up in the roof terrace with a fantastic view making for a wonderful Andalusian experience. Thank you so much Virginia!
The breakfast - always good choices in a Tryp hotel. Perfectly located for the bars and restaurant whilst, at the same time, not too close to them. Lovely view of the sunrise from our room on the front. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Miguel.
Jerez de la Frontera
This property is an outstanding example of Old World Spain living, graciousness and with a greeting and welcome one would be had to find anywhere else. The family could not have made my wife and I more welcome. We #hall be returning the first chance we have.

We liked the convenience of the hotel to Jerez and so easy to get to by car. We enjoyed the evening buffet for dinner and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
