Jerez de la Frontera is a great place to visit. Lots of history and great places to visit. There are loads of little squares with great architecture and great bars and restaurants. Jerez is all about exploring and wandering down the side streets. Tapas is excellent and there are a great choice of restaurants depending on your budget. A must is a tour around a sherry bodegas and Gonzalez Byass (Tio Pepe) is well worth the money and in the centre of Jerez.
Beautiful city. Very friendly people. Very clean streets. The people are very proud of their city. There was much to see in Jerez. We also took advantage of the super train service and had a day in Cadiz. There are a multitude of bars and restaurants in Jerez and we thoroughly enjoyed trying the tapas and sherry! It was so quick to transfer between the hotel and the airport. We left our hotel room at 8am by 8.30am we had passed through security at the airport and were having a coffee. How good was that! We shall certainly make the same trip again. What a lovely break.
It's probably the best town to stay to explore Cadiz region. Though less picturesque than other nearby locations, it's conveniently located at 40-60 min drive to nice, sandy beaches like Roche or Palmares, beautiful towns like Arcos and Vejer, and to go for a green getaway in the mountains of Benamahoma. Lots of flamenco show options. If you're planning to move around the area the best way is renting a car, the area is poorly connected by public transport aside of train between Cádiz and Jérez.
The town was a fair bit bigger than we expected but everything was a fairly comfortable 40-60min walk from our apartment on the Eastern outskirts of Jerez. The main plaza area with fountains and shops was pleasant and we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. I'd certainly like to come back.
Walking around the historic centre and seeing the old palaces and buildings especially the Alcazar and cathedral. A great view from the bell tower next to the cathedral (93 steps). Lots of lovely plazas with bars and restaurants. Enjoyed trying sherries and tapas at the local tabancos. Highlight was theAndalusian horse show at Fundacion real escuela Andalusia del arte ecuestre (Tuesdays and Thursdays) but a tour of stables and carriage museum also available on other days. Note most bodegas (sherry cellar) trips are not open on Mondays.
We enjoyed Jerez, Cadiz and El Puerto de Santa Maria very much. There is much to do and see. We took the Hop-on-Hop-Off box in Cadiz and it was well worth it. Don't miss the Alcázar de Jerez, quite amazing and great views. But most of all don't miss the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, even if you cannot make the show. The grounds are beautiful and you can always watch the training rings. We were also fortunate to make the trip to attend feria, another bucket list item. Enjoy the sherry, sangria, and sea food. I do hope we make it back here. The best Spain trip yet.
Although we are in Spain and it is the norm, I must point out the cleanliness of the room, the hotel lobby and staircase. Impecable. Very nice staff and friendly. Room with one small bedroom just for one person but very comfortable. Air conditioning provided. A very good night sleep. Perfect location, a few steps away from the old town and tons of good restaurants.
Friendly and clean hotel to provide the traveller with a stay in a good sized, stylishly decorated and comfortable room. There is a traditional patio available for guests to sit & relax as well as a restaurant within the hotel. Location is a hort stroll from main sights .

Great location in city centre, nice room with big bathroom, service on reception was really good. Parking in hotel garage for 11€ is valuable, because, there is big issue to find public parking spot in Jerez.
Have stayed there previously. Large room, steps from town center, restaurants and shops w\convenient parking. Fabulous hotel in perfect little town. Very clean, WiFi friendly, all amenities!
This lovely small hotel is situated in a really nice position on a plaza just a short walk from the city centre and the train station which can get you into Seville or Cádiz

The property is beautiful, outside the town and away from the chaos. The staff are very friendly and efficient. This is a quiet place and you very much feel like a guest in a country mansion rather than in a hotel.
