We had an amazing experience. We purchased the cheapest room but they upgraded us to a deluxe room for free. We had unlimited access to the spa (regardless of the room) which was incredible and Adults Only after 18:30h. We ended up having dinner at the hotel: it was high quality buffet food. Nothing beats the location, the clean and smart comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast is great too and you can even sit on the covered terrace enjoying the morning sea with a freshly squeezed orange juice and croissant. I appreciate that there is a small balcony too

    La Pineda offers lovely views on a huge harbour. Sorry for the irony. Furthermore it's quite a tacky place with lots of cheap, lousy shops. The restaurants were quite good, although there aren't many of them that look nice as well. Currently they are remodelling the boardwalk, so that's a downside as well. The beaches are lovely though! Nice sandy, wide beaches.

    Lovely place to stay, especially couples, very comfy & clean, fabulous food (half board). Direct access to beach which was great. Sea view balcony was lovely. Nice pool for lounging also. La Pineda is very clean, safe area. Plenty of shops to browse through with restaurants & bars to sample also. Very close to Salou & Tarragona with regular buses to both towns from outside hotel.

    Nice beach but not an attractive view from it.

    Nice beach but not an attractive view from it. A number of restaurants available, we ate in 2. The Mix had good service and a varied menu, we would recommend it. Can't remember the name of the other. The area has small shops with typical seaside resort items to buy. Taking a taxi is easy, we asked our hotel to call one for us & it arrived quickly both times. Highly recommend Escape Salou - very well organized, enjoyable experience.

    ideal for families for the closeness on visiting theme parks but the resort didn’t have a central town area with good shops. The shops are all selling tourist beach goods. However it has a good bus service to get you into nearby Salou or Tarragona. The main beach is long and sandy but with a 30 minute walk you can walk to several beautiful sandy coves.

    super nice place for families.. beach is very large and all needed groceries stores nearby... the beach has all needed amenities, volleyball, gymnastic bars and several kiosks , there is also a waterpark in the urban centre.. and bigger theme parks nearby. Very safe , illuminated during the night as well. most restaurants offer lunch menus and usually the food is very good

    The location is excellent! It is very near a lovely beach and within walking distance of La Pineda, which is a nice small town. There are regular buses to the nearby theme parks and the nearby town of Salou and port city of Taragona. Go to the bus office on the corner to the right of the hotel as you head towards the beach and buy a bus card. It will save you loads of money and the lady in there is really helpful. The rooms are large and relatively clean, although there was scant cleaning during our 9 night stay.

    Hotel is close to the beach, very calm surroundings, good breakfast, very good gym. Stayed for a short term, but i saw there are lots of activities in the complex: spa, pool, gym, padel court. Very cosy room with balcony, everything was clean, bed comfortable and spacy. Had a car, parking is in the street round a corner. If you want private parking, got to talk to the receptionist, i parked for free in the street.

    the facilities were fab. the pool was great the splash park for the kids and the slide. it was very well prepared for families. the location was amazing short trip from the airport, a short walk along the beach to bars and restaurants and a 10 min bus journey to Salou town. all drinks on the all inclusive were premium drinks.
