Set in Larrasoaña, Casa Elita has a shared lounge, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The lady of the house was most welcoming and helpfull. Breakfast was good and we even got a cake for our journey!
Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, barbecue and sun terrace, Alojamientos Acá y Allá is located in Urdániz, 8.7 mi from Pamplona. You will find a coffee machine in the room. Very clean, cozy and friendly albergue. Swimming pool and washing machine:) Delicious dinner made by the owner himself:)
With a shared lounge and a garden, Txantxorena is located in Zubiri and provides free WiFi. Some units include a patio and/or a balcony with garden or mountain views. Perfect accomodation. Charming, comfort and walking distance to restaurants and shops. I think this will be our favorite of the entire Camino.
The country-style Lorentxo guest house is set in the village of Olave, just 6.2 mi from Pamplona. The light, air-conditioned rooms are elegant and have TVs, balcony and free Wi-Fi. unfortunately an hour after arriving we found ourselves having to go home immediately. When we explained, we offered full payment which was refused as the lady said she couldn't charge us for an hour. So very kind of her. We will definitely book again the next time we go to Spain, as everything looked wonderful.
Small village outside of Zubiri. It feels a year later at the end of the day on the Camino but several nice places to stay and a super Mercado. Also shortens walk to Pamploma. More atmosphere than Zubiri which gets booked up.
Larrasona is a very small town in Spain. If you are a traveler on the Camino, it is well worth the steps from Zubiri to stay in this lovely village. There is one grocery store in the village that mainly caters to the pilgrims, and has a fun bar attached. If you stay in Casa Elita, you will have a chance to really get to know the family that owns and runs the B&B. In the afternoon, on a sunny day, you can walk through the town and talk to the locals - young boys kicking a soccer ball in the street, the many pilgrims who are wondering around. There is limited night life here, but that is not why anyone would choose to visit this place.
