Located in Larrasoaña, ALBERGUE SAN NICOLAS has a shared lounge and a garden. The property provides free WiFi. Pamplona is 8 miles from the hostel. A warm welcome, exceptional hosts, a delicious dinner. It was heavenly and felt homey for us as we are pilgrims walking the Camino.
Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, barbecue and sun terrace, Alojamientos Acá y Allá is located in Urdániz, 8.7 mi from Pamplona. You will find a coffee machine in the room. Lovely, helpful hosts who were eager to please. Accommodations were updated and very clean. Would stay there again.
Set in the foothills of Navarra Pyrenees, Pensión Amets is a guest house located in Zubiri, by Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. There is a garden with views of the river and a medieval bridge. Great location, very helpful owner, breakfast was good. Free washing & clothes lines simply heaven when walking the Camiño :)
The country-style Lorentxo guest house is set in the village of Olave, just 6.2 mi from Pamplona. The light, air-conditioned rooms are elegant and have TVs, balcony and free Wi-Fi. unfortunately an hour after arriving we found ourselves having to go home immediately. When we explained, we offered full payment which was refused as the lady said she couldn't charge us for an hour. So very kind of her. We will definitely book again the next time we go to Spain, as everything looked wonderful.
Unique hotel 6 miles from the center of Pamplona, in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by gardens and next to the Ultzama River, in the town of Olabe. Really friendly welcome and very attentive to our needs. Lovely comfortable room with a free upgrade. Excellent food and wine, all at a very reasonable price. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for an overnight stay en route to Madrid from Biarritz.
Larrasoana was originally our second choice for an overnight stay on the Camino; our original preference was Zubiri. The day's walk was a little longer but very much worth it because of the charm of Casa Elita and the quality of the reception and pilgrim's dinner at the inn at the centre of the village. One of the best evenings of the Camino!
Larrasoana is a very small village. If you are walking the Camino and planning to stay in the Albergue, care needs to be taken to ensure that it is open for your dates. We were in Larrasoana in early June and there was a note in the window of the Albergue stating that it opened from 22nd June. There aren't a lot of accommodation choices in Larrasoana.
Small village outside of Zubiri. It feels a year later at the end of the day on the Camino but several nice places to stay and a super Mercado. Also shortens walk to Pamploma. More atmosphere than Zubiri which gets booked up.
Small place Little in the way of facilities eg no bar or restaurant. We bought food from the supermarket and ate in our room On the Camino. We walked from Roncevalles. Felt a bit too far to be honest!
Spotlessly clean. A very warm welcome from a lovely lady who made all her guests a hearty dinner which we all needed Lovely bedroom and bathroom. Highly recommend to anyone. Tom & Patricia from Belfast
The restaurant was closed we went to the supermarket to get food. Angel the guy who own it made up bread and we bought wine and other food plenty of people there eating and drinking well worth a visit great night.
Nice family operation. Mama made homemade dinner for everyone.
