I loved the Green Lounge where free drinks and snacks (beer & wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee) were available (self service) until midnight. It gave a nice atmosphere to the hotel. I enjoyed reading a book, chilling there at the end of my day. The breakfast was lovely, with an "egg station" where eggs were made on the spot to your liking (the lady was lovely, a pleasure to see here every morning). Also, I checked out at 6.20am and the day before the lovely lady at reception offered breakfast to go, which was very handy. Make sure to ask the day before. The room was spacious, well thought and nothing beats Italian showers. The location was good for me - walking distance from the port and restaurants (Mahón is rather small). Also it is close to the airport (10min by bus - L10) which drops you at the bus station (3 min away from the hotel). The same bus station allows you to travel around the island if you didn't rent a car. It takes 1h to go to Ciutadella, on the other side of the island (50min with the Xpress bus).

The road it was located on was quiet, but it was very central to everything in town. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel offered a very reasonably priced "honesty bar" where you could purchase Coca-cola, beer etc. for a much better price than a standard hotel mini bar. My room was well appointed and had a lovely view of the surrounding rooftops. Very good value for money. I hope to stay again soon.

The hotel is stunning and the location is right in the center of the town. The junior suite was very large and nicely decorated. The entire staff was extremely professional, polite and very friendly. They gave us great restaurant and site seeing recommendations. They actually seemed to enjoy their job and the guests! We had the pleasure to meet the owner and she was very nice and gave us the history of the building, family owned for over 200 years, and of the island. We highly recommend Sindic Hotel.

    Mahon is quite a small town perched on top of the cliff with attractive roads and footpaths down to the waterside. The historic centre has good shops and restaurants and the restaurant along the waterside are numerous and very good. A quick boat ride to the little island in the harbour - Illa del Rei - is definitely worth it for lunch

    Mahon is a lovely island and the people are lovely and very friendly and helpful. The town is full of streets going off in different directions for travellers to explore. It is a very pretty town with lots of different shops to enjoy and buy lovely items to bring back to family and friends.

    we may have been out of season, but all along the harbour...

    we may have been out of season, but all along the harbour there were plenty of shops and restaurants, that never seemed to open or would only open for a few hours and then shut for the rest of the week. we should have gone to Es Castell, nice little harbour. Town is a lovely walk along the harbour and then take the lift up otherwise its a long hike up the steps or slopes. Town is limited in things to do. the markets are nice and interesting, for a bit, and you can only drink so much coffee, beer or Gin! you could complete in a day. the bus station is good and easy to use once you find it!

    Very unfriendly staff (except for some exceptions , for example receptionist and Italian barmaid very nice). The rest were kind of aggressive and unhelpful. Especially in the Spa ! If (like me) you chose this property for the spa... Don`t go! Either you won`t be able to access it or you will be left out in the cold with your young daughter , like it happened to me. Youi pay even the air you breath , nothing is complementary. I really did not have a good time.

    It was so easy to get around buses on the door step to take you to the shopping centre and coffee houses, also road train with a lot of information as you went along. Oldy worldly place very interesting, also the harbour area great

    We had a lovely comfortable room, with a dual aspect and balcony. The bathroom was a lovely size and the shower was fabulous. We really liked the green toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of choice of hot and cold options. I also liked that the emphasis was on locally produced products. There was no excess packaging for butter or yogurt pots. The hotel location was lovely with a wonderful view of the Port of Mahon and in easy walking distance of the port And old town. I am sure we will be back to visit Menorca again.

    This really is a little gem of a place in the heart of Mahon. The building itself is quite spectacular inside and has been stylishly adapted into a very fine hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the overall feel is of being in a home/building that is a smart residence rather than the usual hotel layout. Every aspect is very stylish, including the service and genuine care for customers

    The location of the hotel was perfect for Mahon, room was fine we did not get a double bed but it was OK. Breakfast was not included but we tried it the first day and decided it was worth it for the remainder of the stay
