Beautiful location, excellent cheap municipal car park but gets busy early evening, lots of restaurants, people helpful and friendly, great views of the Med, supermarkets well stocked. Mijas is a lovely town with much to offer.
Mijas is a lovely town with much to offer. It is well served by a number of bus routes. There are a good range of shops and restaurants. If walking is your thing, there are a number of walking trails to the north of the village. The routes are marked, the paths are rocky and loose, so good ankle support would be a recommendation, as would walking poles. Fuengirola is 3 miles down the hill on the coast. There were 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower cubicle. Bedroom is spacious, as was the sitting room and equipped kitchen. There was also large terrace, one which overlooks Mijas-Costa, and another separate, much larger enclosed terrace.
