The sea view room was amazing. A little balcony with a table and 2 chairs, laundry hanging wires etc. Plus it had a bathtub - it was a very pleasant experience to stay there. Both breakfast and dinner buffets had enough variety and tasty food and the price was very reasonable. Parking on the nearby streets is free, so no need to use the paid parking facilities that are provided by the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel parking area was full anyway, but we always found a free spot on the street. People in the reception were great, always smiling, always saying Hello, always accommodating all our requests. A shoutout to Jesus for the best hospitality!

    Touristic, but not crowded. It's also where the seasonal workers live so not all fancy and shiny but more worker oriented. Older Hotels and buildings. Nearby Torrox is probably double the price and less authentic, at least Torrox playa.

    It is extremely Spanish and very little English spoken. There are however quite a few pleasant restaurants along the front for food and drink where a little English is spoken. It neighbours Torrox Costa which is by far the better resort and has many beachside restaurant which are very attractive and sells good food. Much of the building work around El Morche remains unfinished and this makes the resort look untidy and unattractive. There is one computer shop in El Morche but it is still closed due to Coronavirus. This means that if you have to print off documents for travel there is a requirement to go to Torrox Costa. There is, however a very good Linea bus service which goes to and from Torrox Costa. Also there is a bus service to Torre del Mar, Malaga and Nerja. There are a few small supermarkets and other shops but no interesting shops apart from the pottery shop at the end of the resort.
