The hotel Mirador has a wonderful location on a hill overlooking the t o r m e s River, the Romanesque bridge, the quaint town of el barco de Avila, and the great Castle. The staff kindly let us enter our room early. They also upgraded us to a third floor Room with a View. The room was very spacious and good. The breakfast was very good. We only had to walk 100 yards to get to the old bridge which crosses the river to the Old Town. It was a wonderfully restful place.

Marta and Alicia are wonderful hosts. The casa has beautiful art and furnishings. It's peaceful and very comfortable. They serve a wonderful breakfast in the garden. I highly recommend staying here!

Enjoyed the rural surroundings of the hotel. Yet it was close to Bejar and a good location for us to visit local villages. The room was cute and clean. The breakfast each morning was very nice.
